How to be a faithful servant of God

Jesus said to his disciples: "Whoever is faithful in a little thing will be faithful in a great thing; but whoever is unjust in a little thing will also be unrighteous in a great thing." Through these words Let us know that if we want to be a faithful servant of God, we must first be loyal in the smallest things, not just in the so-called big things. So in what aspects are the smallest things reflected? ●In the church, when we serve God, we often only know how to preach, preach the gospel, heal the sick and cast out demons, and build churches. We think that serving God well in these things means being loyal to the Lord. But look at those who clean and do things in the church. Brothers and sisters who cook, wash dishes, and take care of housework, although they don’t have many gifts or even any positions, and they do some very ordinary, simple, or even inconspicuous things, but what we often see in them is A heart that is pure and passionate about the Lord can be seen as caring, considerate, and taking care of the brothers and sisters around us. And how much have we, the so-called people with gifts and positions, done in this? If we always live in our gifts and responsibilities but do nothing in the church, are we being loyal to the Lord? Think about Jesus washing the disciples’ feet, and He also said: I did not come to be served, but to serve. Jesus is the Son of God, and for the sake of his family, he still knew how to work as a carpenter to support his family! So what should we as the Lord’s disciples do? We always say that we are children born of the true way, but the true way is actually the way of life. If we don’t start from the little things in life, we will not be able to understand the hardships of life and appreciate those who have paid for our growth. Relatives do not have the heart to understand, sympathize, and care about them. They cannot be like a family and cannot build love for each other. Can this be said to be loyal to the Lord? ●In the family, when we embark on the path of serving God, we devote most of our time to the church, but we should not forget that when we return home, we must fulfill our duties as children and honor our parents. We care about our brothers and sisters and help them with housework as much as possible. But we are often willing to be busy in the church, even working hard, but when we get home, we do cooking, cooking, washing, cleaning and other housework. I don't want to do it anymore. Others spend all day at home reading the Bible, praying, and listening to sermons online, but do not do what they can to help their parents who work hard for them. No matter how much they read the Bible, pray well, or listen to sermons, But I don’t know what’s the use of feeling sorry for my parents? Because knowledge makes people exalt themselves, but only love can build people up. Believers' daily reading of the Bible, prayers, and listening to sermons will ultimately help us develop a heart of loving God and loving others. But if we don't even know how to love our own parents, how can we love God and love others? If you don’t know how to honor your parents at home, how can you be loyal to the Lord? ●In society, we all know that we are children of the Lord of hosts, and we are proud of this, but we should not forget that we have both a heavenly and an earthly identity. We must obey those in power, which means that we must be good, law-abiding citizens on earth and learn to respect and understand others. But instead of doing this, we argue with others over trivial matters, and even some They don’t do things as well as those who don’t believe, and they don’t pay attention when they speak. In fact, God’s name is often tarnished by those of us who believe in the Lord. We all say that we have God’s will, but if we fail to be strict with ourselves in a word, a penny, or a matter, and instead cause bad effects to those around us, then how can God’s will come to pass? Is it fulfilled in us? Therefore, if we want to truly become a faithful servant of God, we must start from the little things and complete our faith, love and behavior in the little things.
