Production status of salted pomegranate

The origin of salt water pomegranate is located in Yanshuigou, Nagu Town, Huize County, and is known as the "hometown of pomegranate". Before and after Guangxu in Qing Dynasty, salt water pomegranate was famous both inside and outside the province and sold to Kunming, Guiyang and other places in Guangxi. From 1972 to 1982, it sold to 529 tons in Hong Kong and Macao at the price of $430 per ton. 1985, Nagu Town, Huize County was listed as a production base for developing 10,000 mu of pomegranate by Yunnan Province, and became the only fruit in Yunnan Province that earned foreign exchange through export at that time. By the end of 2002, 5,200 mu of pomegranate had been planted in salt water, furnace house, Fajika, dried Haizi and Niunitang in Nagu Town, as well as in Xiaojiang Valley and Niedeping in Dahai Township. The main varieties are green leather, additive leather, fire robe and so on, involving more than 2500 farmers. In 2003, the output of pomegranate was 60 1 1,000 Jin, and the output value was 1 68 1 1,000 yuan.

In 2004, after the successful introduction and trial planting of soft-seeded pomegranate in Tunisia, the town party committee and government decided to plant soft-seeded pomegranate 1 10,000 mu in five years and improve the old variety pomegranate 1 10,000 mu. In 20 10 year, * * * invested 850,000 yuan to newly plant 250 mu of soft-seeded pomegranate and transform 1000 mu.
