Cook tea around the stove

Cooking tea around the stove means that three or two people use tea sets to cook tea around the stove.

In late autumn and early winter, when the temperature starts to drop gradually, people will bring their own tea sets, or go to outdoor tea houses or new Chinese teahouses to make a fire, make tea, bake oranges and eat melon seeds. This new phenomenon is called cooking tea around the stove.

The emerging tea cooking around the stove is actually nothing new. Cooking tea is a traditional tea-drinking culture in China. As early as the Tang and Song Dynasties, people in China boiled and drank tea. Tea was ground into powder and made into tea balls. When drinking, the tea was mashed and boiled together with ginger, orange peel, mint and other seasonings. The boiled tea tasted very dense and was deeply loved by people.
