Small languages should not have this problem. Employment prospects should be good. You can be a translator in the future. Going abroad is not bad, and working in China is not bad. Studying a small language at Beijing Foreign Studies University should have a good career prospect in the future. Some rare small languages can come in handy in many cases. The most important thing is to choose your favorite small language.
