When people stand on it, it seems that they can touch the stars in the sky, so it is named "Star-Zhaing Tower".

Later, King Zhou was bewitched by Daji and plucked Bigan's heart here. Later generations commemorated Bigan and called this place the "Heart-Topping Platform". Today's Star Reaching Platform is the foundation of the Star Reaching Tower.

In Lushan County, Pingdingshan City, Henan Province, there is such a giant Buddha. The Buddha statue is 208 meters high including the base, which is twice the total height of Guanyin in the South China Sea in Sanya and 120 meters higher than the famous Wuxi Lingshan Giant Buddha. It is currently listed in the "Guinness Book of Records" as "the tallest Buddhist statue in the world."

However, building this Buddha also cost a lot of manpower, material and financial resources. According to data, the design and production of the Zhongyuan Giant Buddha began in 1997, and it was completed and consecrated in 2008. It took as long as 11 years. The casting used 3,300 tons of copper, 108 kilograms of gold, and 15,000 tons of special steel, with a total investment of 1.26 billion yuan! It is currently a national 5A tourist attraction.

The completed Zhongyuan Giant Buddha will be a landmark building in Pingdingshan. Tickets are 120 yuan per person. In the service area of ??the highway leading to the scenic spot, you can see the golden Buddha standing on the top of the mountain from a distance, which is really shocking. It is said that praying here is very effective, so there are many tourists in the scenic area, and most of them come to pray for wealth and peace.

Between the two feet of the Buddha is a nest of blessings. It is said that this is the happiest blessed place in the world. As long as you stand and squat in the "Fu's Nest", blessings will be with you forever. Therefore, many tourists choose to take pictures here to keep their luck!

Going down the steps is Foquan Temple. It is understood that Foquan Temple was built during the Zhenguan period of the Tang Dynasty and has a history of more than 1,400 years. There is also a 116-ton "Tianrui Auspicious Bell" in the temple, which is listed in the "Guinness Book of World Records" as "the world's largest externally struck bronze bell".

The sandy river in front of the temple is rippling with blue waves, and there are hot springs erupting all year round on the south bank. It is said that it can cure all kinds of diseases and is known as the "Buddha Spring". Most of the tourists who come here for sightseeing choose to take a dip.

In China, almost every city has a tower worthy of its name. For example, the Big Wild Goose Pagoda in Xi'an, the Sakyamuni Pagoda in Yingxian County, Shuozhou, the Qianxun Pagoda in Dali, and the Leifeng Pagoda in Hangzhou... These towers are either city landmarks or popular tourist destinations.

Similarly, there is such a tower in Kaifeng City, Henan Province. Because of its profound historical and cultural heritage, exquisite design structure and scientific and technological value, it has the reputation of "the best tower in the world". The most important thing is that this tower is different from Leifeng Pagoda (rebuilt in 1924), Yellow Crane Tower (rebuilt in 1981), etc. It is a real historic site with a history of more than 960 years. It is the only one left on the ground in Kaifeng. One of the two true monuments, it is also one of the first batch of national key protected cultural relics announced in my country, and its value is evident.

This tower is the Iron Tower located on Beimen Street, Kaifeng City.

According to records, the predecessor of the Iron Tower was originally a wooden pagoda. It was built in the seventh year of Taiping and Xingguo (982 AD), and was later destroyed by lightning. The existing Iron Tower was rebuilt in the first year of Emperor You of the Northern Song Dynasty (i.e. 1049 AD). During the more than 900 years since it was built, it has experienced 43 earthquakes, 24 floods, and countless wars. To this day, half of the iron tower is still covered with stone. The traces of the bombing are still standing. It is currently a national 4A tourist attraction.

Of course, the reason why the Iron Tower is known to everyone is not because of its long architectural history, but because of its outstanding architectural art, which can be called a perfect giant work of art. The iron tower is in the shape of an equilateral octagon and has thirteen floors. Each side of the bottom floor is 4.16 meters wide, and then shrinks upward layer by layer, with a total height of 55.88 meters. Because the whole body is inlaid with brown glazed bricks, from a distance, it has the profound temperament of iron and copper, and its momentum is astonishing.
