It is appropriate for me to answer this question. I come from a small town in the north, which is located in the northeast, almost close to Russia. My object is a small city in the south near the South China Sea. After living together for so many years, I really feel the difference in habits between the north and the south. Let's talk about it one by one.

1. The diet is very different.

The food in the north of our province tastes slightly heavier, the oil, salt and spicy are normal, and the vegetable weight is relatively large, including pasta. This noodle is jiaozi steamed stuffed bun, wonton and all kinds. In the south, food is light. They like steaming very much, and there is not much seasoning, so it won't be very complicated. Like in the north, they fry all kinds of things and need a lot of spices. There will be less food in the south, and then it will be more exquisite. Sometimes you can't order eight dishes for dinner. But I ordered two northern dishes, and I may not be able to finish both of them, so I have to pack them.

Southerners, especially Cantonese, like soup very much. Northerners have almost no habit of making soup. This may also be related to the climate. Southerners are relatively healthy. Let's eat, they will be healthier. They can also eat some fresh things. Unlike the cold weather in the north, many people who like meat are too tired to eat fresh ones.

In addition, there are many jokes that I have probably seen online. For example, the tofu brain eaten by northerners is salty, while that eaten by southerners is sweet. ; The zongzi eaten by northerners is sweet, while the zongzi eaten by southerners is salty and contains meat. It's hard to understand these differences if we don't get in touch with so many differences between the north and the south, but fortunately we can still have dinner together, although the differences between the north and the south are huge and need more tolerance.

2. Different living habits.

For example, southerners may buy vegetables every day, especially Cantonese people, and pay attention to freshness. It's too hot, and many foods go bad easily overnight. They only buy a little green vegetables, and meat can be bought for two yuan, three yuan and five yuan. Buying some in the northeast is easy to be beaten. Northeasters always buy a lot of things, which has a lot to do with climate and living habits. Because it is too cold, I can't buy it every day. A lot of food is already fresh, but there are not so many fresh vegetables. So there will be the habit of "hoarding" items. Especially when buying food, a bunch of refrigerators are bought buy buy, so you don't have to go out to buy anything. After all, it's MINUS 20 degrees outside in winter in the north, while it's winter here in Guangdong. Sometimes it is even more than 20 degrees below zero.

In addition, bathing in the north is not frequent, because firstly, it is dry, secondly, it is inconvenient, and thirdly, there is probably not so much water. In the south, you can't take a bath once a day, or even take a bath twice a day without taking a bath. When you go out, it will be sticky and sweaty, and it will be very uncomfortable not to take a shower.
