Where is Longtan ancient town?

Longtan town is located in the hinterland of Wuling Mountain in southeast Chongqing.

Longtan ancient town in Youyang is a Millennium market town integrating architectural art and national culture. Located in the hinterland of Wuling Mountain area, it is named after two water caves similar to "Longan" that accumulate water all the year round at the foot of the mountain. The ancient town has a long history and outstanding people, with a history of 1700 years. During the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, the town was destroyed by a fire and moved to the Longtan River for reconstruction.
