The Book of Rites under the Bow of Tan contains the article "tyranny is fiercer than tiger", which records the story of Confucius and his disciples meeting a woman with a tragic life experience when passing through Mount Tai. The local tiger was badly affected, but it was precisely because of the harsh tyranny of monarchs in other places that she and her relatives would rather live here all the time, so that many people and her relatives were killed by tigers, leaving her alone to cry in front of their relatives' graves. The full text is mainly narrative, which profoundly exposes the cruelty of feudal tyranny to the people. Later, the idiom "tyranny is fiercer than tigers" was derived from this story, which means that the tyranny of reactionary rulers is more terrible than a tiger that eats people.
