1. Scope of application

Vehicles from other places traveling within the Sixth Ring Road (not included) in Beijing, as well as vehicles from other places traveling to Changping, Huairou, and Yanqing Chengguan Town, need to apply for a Beijing entry pass.

2. Required materials

Driver’s identity certificate and valid motor vehicle driving license;

Motor vehicle driving license;

Valid compulsory insurance certificate for motor vehicle traffic accident liability;

Valid motor vehicle safety technical inspection mark;

Certificate confirmed by the municipal environmental protection department that the vehicle meets environmental protection requirements.

3. Processing method

The first one: any checkpoint or certificate office in Beijing, but the main processing locations are outside the Sixth Ring Road, usually at the intersection of the highway. 4. Validity period of the document

5. Latest policies

1. Tightening of the application for Beijing entry passes: each vehicle can apply for a Beijing entry pass at most 12 times a year, and the maximum validity period of each Beijing entry pass is 7 days. (Explanation: This means that you can apply for and use the Beijing Entry Permit for a maximum of 84 days in a year. It does not affect the normal temporary temporary entry of vehicles from other places to Beijing for business, but long-term use of foreign license plates in Beijing has become history.)

2. Expansion of traffic restrictions: from the previous Fifth Ring Road, to roads within the Sixth Ring Road (excluding) and roads in the entire Tongzhou District (excluding main expressway roads). All vehicles from other places entering this range must Apply for a Beijing entry pass. (Explanation: This means that all 906 square kilometers of Tongzhou will implement traffic restrictions for outbound vehicles.)

3. Diesel trucks with national III emission standards from outside the city are prohibited from entering roads within the Sixth Ring Road (inclusive) throughout the day. 4.
