So where is the computer located? time switch machine? Let's share how to set the computer's regular startup and shutdown method.

How to set up a computer time switch machine?

1, which sets the method for starting the computer regularly.

First of all, the setting method of computer startup regularly, because different brands of motherboards have different BIOS, here we take ASUS BIOS motherboard as an example and other BIOS as a reference. First of all, as soon as the computer is turned on, we repeatedly press the DEL key to enter the BIOS interface of the motherboard, and we can change the language to "Simplified Chinese", as shown in the following figure.

Note: It is very important to confirm whether the time in the BIOS is consistent with the local time. If the system time is different, you can click the "gear" setting next to the system time to set and save the system time.

Make sure that the system time and local time are correct, then press F7 to enter advanced mode, click Advanced tab, and then enter Advanced Power Management, as shown in the following figure.

As shown in the figure below, set the ErP support option to off.

Set the "Wake-up by RTC" option to "On", as shown in the following figure.

Now we need to set the auto-start time. For example, if we set the computer to start automatically at 8: 30 every day, then we need to set the wake-up date of the real-time clock to 0, -8, -30 and -0.

Note: Wake-up date of real-time clock: set 0 every day, 1 set 1, set 3 on the 3rd, set 30 on the 30th.

After setting the automatic timed startup time, we press the "F 10" key to save the BIOS setting and determine whether the time setting is correct. If it is correct, click OK to save and restart the computer.

There is another important setting. If it is a Win 10 system, you need to turn off "Start Quick Start" in the power options after entering the system. Take Win 10 system as an example. Let's right-click the windows icon startup menu, select power options, and then click other power settings on the power and sleep settings page.

Let's click "select the function of the power button", as shown in the figure below.

In the shutdown settings, we uncheck the "Enable Quick Start" option and click the "Save Changes" button, then we can set the automatic start through BIOSRTC.

In this way, the computer is set to start regularly. Please ensure that the time in the BIOS is consistent with the local time and that the power supply is on.

Other brands of BIOS motherboards can be found in the power management settings.

2. Set the method to shut down the computer regularly.

Take Win 10 as an example, systems such as Win7 can also create task plans in a similar way. First, we right-click "This Computer" and select "Manage".

Under System Tools, click Task Scheduler, and then click Create Basic Task ... In the rightmost window, as shown in the following figure.

Let's give this task plan a name, such as "automatic shutdown at regular intervals".

If you need to turn off your computer regularly every day, select "Just Every Day", depending on your actual situation.

If we start now, the start date will be today and the time will be set as the closing time every day. For example, if I want to set it at 8 pm every day, then we will set it at 20:00:00.

Click Start Program, and then click Next.

Program or script input: c: windowssystem32shutdown.exe.

Add parameter: -s-t60

-s means to turn off the computer;

-t60 means that the timeout before turning off the computer is set to 60 seconds, which means that there is a 60-second countdown before turning off the computer.

There is no problem above, just click the "Finish" button.

We expand the task planning library, and we can see the newly created scheduled automatic shutdown task in the list in the middle window. Automatic shutdown at 20 o'clock every day. If you don't need this task plan in the future, you can right-click it in the task plan library to delete it.
