How to plant cotton in rural areas

1. According to soil fertility and self-management level, select suitable planting varieties. In principle, the standard is: varieties with early maturity, strong disease resistance and good yield.

2. Dry the seeds 15 days before sowing. The method is to scatter cotton seeds on air cushion or dry hard ground for 3-5 days to break the dormancy period of seeds (which can improve the germination rate of seeds).

3. It should be noted, however, that seeds should not be aired on cement floor, asphalt pavement or plastic sheeting, so as to avoid high temperature burning cotton seeds and reducing the germination rate of seeds.
