What are you going to do after retirement?

Thirty years, year after year, I have been busy, and I have become a workaholic and a robot. I seem to know nothing but work. I can't live, play or even rest. Now that I'm finally retired, I'm going to make up for the classes I missed in the last 30 years and make a retirement list:

1, go and tidy up the house and put an end to the clutter at home. In recent years, every day is like a swallow holding mud, and more and more things are bought at home. Many things have been bought for a long time and the packaging has never been opened. Everything in each cupboard is almost full from the crack of the door, and the drawers in each cupboard are full. Now it's time to clean them up. It is not only to clear away the sundries in life, but also to clean up the psychological garbage, to get rid of the past and miscellaneous things, and to let go and get rid of them.

2. Beautify the living room and restore the essence of home. Home should be a warm harbor, but in the past, because of busy work, home was like a sleeping hotel, a warehouse for storing things. When I retire, I finally have time. I can decorate my home at will, arrange flowers, plant grass, raise fish and create DlY, so that every corner is unique, and every grass and tree is full of warm and romantic atmosphere, giving my body and mind an exile space.

3. Come a few times, let yourself go completely and spread the joy well. People who have never been under the pressure of work may not understand the feeling of relief and the desire to fly. Come to go on road trip in the suburbs once a week, even in the nameless wasteland, hills, streams and villages, without losing the place where your soul belongs. Come for a long trip once a month, pack your bags and roam the world. When you are tired, come back when you are tired.

4, to learn to be a life home, let yourself and your family's life live with relish. First of all, we should start with cooking, give time to the kitchen, return the delicious food to the taste buds, cook warm meals for our families with love, and bid farewell to the monotonous fast food work meals in the past. For example, learn to cook children's favorite meat, the elderly's favorite pasta, and the lover's favorite seafood ... Be a full-time and comprehensive housewife, serve her family well, and make up for her negligence and debt to her family when she is busy at work.

It's interesting to find your long-lost hobby and immerse yourself in it. In the past, most of our studies were utilitarian, and we didn't start from real fun and interest. For example, what we learn at school is more for further study and employment, and what we learn at work is forced by the competition for evaluation and promotion. Only after retirement can learning really return to the essence of learning, which is interest and fun. For example, I like painting, music, literature, writing, dancing, reading, calligraphy and self-media. I feel that there are so many things I want to learn and play, but I can only secretly itch in my heart. Now I can finally have a lot of time and energy to play. And it is pure play, without utilitarian heart, just to waste those short silences and long meaningless, and kill those exquisite and lazy good times.

6. To establish reconciliation with yourself and the world, one aspect is to reach reconciliation with the necessary defects in life and stop demanding. Another aspect is to cherish the fundamental value of life and love what you love. With these two aspects of consciousness, there will be a lasting good attitude.

7. Looking for true freedom, what is true freedom? When you don't need others' approval, and you don't need to prove yourself to others, you will have inner freedom and security.
