At present, most performances of Beijing People's Art still retain the drama tradition. This form of expression is increasingly unacceptable to the post-90s generation who watched American blockbusters grow up. Chinese opera mainly refers to traditional performances such as Beijing Opera, Yue Opera and Kunqu Opera that we are familiar with. English translation and western opera are the same word: opera, which is called oriental opera by westerners. So drama includes drama, traditional opera, musical, children's drama, ballet, opera and so on.
