Landscape of Yanziji Park

As the first of the three famous rocks in the Yangtze River, Yanziji is known as the "first rock in the Yangtze River". Located outside Guanyin Gate in the northern suburb of Nanjing, it is one of the three famous rocks in the Yangtze River and a branch in the northeast of Yanshan Mountains. At an altitude of 36 meters, the rock stands upright on the river, facing the sky on three sides, and looks like a swallow spreading its wings, hence the name Yanziji. This is an important ferry in ancient times. Emperor Kangxi and Emperor Qianlong lived here when they went down to Jiangnan. Emperor Qianlong has a tablet of "Yanziji" in this book. "Yanji Sunset Red" is one of the forty-eight scenic spots in Jinling in the early Qing Dynasty. There are Hongji Temple, Guanyin Pavilion and other buildings near Yanziji. There are 12 caves in Yanshan mountain range, which are formed by the impact of river water, mostly cliffs. Among them, Santai Cave is the deepest, widest and deepest. During the Opium War, British troops landed in Yanziji, pushing Nanjing. During World War II, the Japanese invaders massacred tens of thousands of Nanjing compatriots in this floodplain.

Boarding the airplane and watching the rolling Yangtze River, it's majestic and rushing for thousands of miles. The Yangtze River Bridge in the west spans the river like a rainbow, especially on a moonlit night, when the moon is in the sky, the river is sparkling and decorated with sails.

There is a royal monument pavilion on the top of the hill. The front of the monument in the pavilion is engraved with three Chinese characters "Yanziji", which was personally inscribed by Emperor Qianlong. He visited Jiangnan six times and Yanziji five times.
