From it, I learned that the definition, essence, significance and how to carry out 6S are all worth learning and thinking about.

The contents of 6S include: sorting, rectifying, sweeping, cleaning, literacy and safety. As the teacher said in the training, to do a good job of 6S, we must first understand its essence and significance. I used to understand 6S literally, but through training, I understood its true meaning and essence. Its specific meaning is as follows: sorting: distinguish between what is needed and what is not needed, keep only the right amount of what is needed on site, and clean up what is not needed to save space; Rectification: locate important things according to the regulations, put them neatly as far as possible, mark them accurately, and save time; Cleaning: the technology of removing dirt from the workplace, preventing dirt from occurring, keeping the workplace clean, inspecting equipment and maintaining it to ensure quality and efficiency; Cleanliness: Standardize and institutionalize the 3S work, maintain the achievements and persevere; Literacy: everyone develops the good habit of doing things according to the rules and pursues the realm.
