How to cut the tiger orchid?

In fact, it is quite easy to cut spruce, but you must choose a good substrate when cutting. Just a few days ago, anthomaniac did a cutting experiment for everyone, and chose four different cutting substrates, but the rooting results were quite different. The four substrates I choose here are pure perlite, a mixture of perlite and vermiculite in equal proportion, pure vermiculite and pure water. Here, pure perlite and the mixture of perlite and vermiculite have no signs of rooting after cutting 1 month, while pure water and pure vermiculite cuttings have grown lush roots.

Because the anthomaniac puts these four substrates in the same environment and uses the same conservation method, only two substrates take root, so the conclusion here is that only pure vermiculite and pure water are easier to take root, so if you want to cut the tiger orchid, you'd better choose these two substrates.

Then let's talk about what we should pay attention to when cutting the tiger orchid. For the cutting of Picea macrophylla, branches should be selected first, which can be cut directly from the plant. Also dry the cut branches, otherwise it will easily lead to branch rot, and it is generally best to dry them for 1-2 days.

When the branches are dry, they can be cut. Put vermiculite into a flowerpot, then spray it with a watering can, insert the prepared branches directly into the substrate, and put them in some scattered light positions to keep the substrate moist at ordinary times and take root quickly. It is easier to cut with pure water. We just use tap water directly. We put the branches into the water, then put 2 drops of rooting agent in the water and change the water for about 3 days. Basically, it can grow roots in about 20 days.
