Therefore, Xiaodu is more comfortable when viewing the screen, while Xiaoai is not suitable for long-distance viewing, and the picture quality is rougher.

Then there is the key voice interaction function of smart speakers. Both Xiaodu and Xiaoai support basic functions such as remote voice interaction from 5 meters away, playing music, watching videos, and setting alarm clocks. Xiaodu has a full-duplex voice function, no wake-up words for 30 seconds, and can continue natural voice interaction. I asked a few random questions and will continue to ask more questions based on their responses. Xiaodu's answers generally satisfy me, and sometimes he can even humor himself. So if you want to chat all the time, Xiaodu may be relatively more convenient, while Xiaoai is relatively more stylized.

If there are children at home, I personally feel that Xiaodu is better. Xiaodu includes a children's mode, which can identify children through voice and automatically filter out content that is not suitable for children. A cartoon interface and special content are specially prepared for children, and the system sound will also become a child's voice. Small details such as usage time and distance control have also been taken into consideration, so parents should be very worry-free during use.

In terms of resources, I feel that the difference between the two is not particularly big. They all cooperate with mainstream platforms such as QQ Music, Himalaya, and Dragonfly FM, and generally have almost the content we want. But one thing is that Xiaodu can use Baidu Cloud storage function, so Xiaodu can also extract the content in Baidu Cloud. This is pretty good.

Functionally speaking, Xiaodu will provide more details, such as providing various functions such as querying vehicle violation information, translation, video calls, Baidu, and games. The Xiaoai function may be significantly simpler. In particular, Xiaodu's video calls, video recordings and screenshots only require voice operations, which is quite suitable for families with only the elderly and children at home.

After comparison, I feel that Xiaodu will be more cost-effective at home, while Xiaoai may be relatively weaker in all aspects of functionality. You can choose and buy according to your actual needs.
