The Ordinary Road*** Orange is Long---Remember iCourt

At 17:45 on September 14, Dad Niu and I entrusted the child to my sister-in-law at the expressway exit, then turned the car directly onto the expressway and rushed to the high-speed rail station, hoping to catch up with the 18:32 departure The last high-speed train to Beijing. After running all the way, I finally arrived at the high-speed rail station at 18:17. After sitting down, he took a deep breath.

On August 18, 2018, iCourt moved into the new DayOne Legal Technology Building. Taking this opportunity, activities with the theme of "Future Law Firm" were held in the new building in phases, and some alumni were invited to participate in the activities. Dad Niu has witnessed the past and present life of iCourt, its development and growth, and he was invited. As for me, I am attending as a future alumnus.

What is iCourt?

iCourt is a unique law school that combines law, technology, and humanities.

Since starting the business at the end of 2013, more than 40,000 legal professionals have entered iCourt Law School, including lawyers, judges, legal affairs officers, prosecutors, and law school teachers. It is said that this number is growing rapidly every day.

Developed Alpha, an intelligent lawyer work system, an intelligent operating system that integrates law firm management, legal big data, and market expansion. Currently, more than 2,000 law firms and 60,000 lawyers use Alpha every day.

What attracts me is iCourt’s humanity, people and culture.

Let’s talk about “people” first.

A year ago, Dad Niu introduced me to Teacher Shaowen and recommended his book "The Heart Can Change Realms". I was fortunate enough to go on a legal study tour in Europe with the teacher. This book and this study tour allowed me to step out of the confinement of nearly twenty years and once again opened the window of knowledge for seeking knowledge and study. One of them is that my circle of friends has a touch of orange, iCourt has entered my heart, and I started to follow them.

Nono, one of the three founding partners of iCourt, is a beautiful girl born in 1989. Teacher Shaowen described her as "as beautiful as a flower, very good at communication, self-motivated, and infinitely creative." There probably aren't many students who can receive such praise from their teachers.

Teacher Shaowen once recommended her to a top domestic law firm. In just a few months, she conquered her boss, partners and all her clients. Everyone around her praised her. Don't stop talking.

However, the sacrifices behind people with self-driven personality far exceed people’s imagination. She was so tired that she had hardly had a weekend off since starting work and had no private space.

After that, she left the law firm and started a business with two other friends, Hu Qingping and Caina, the other two founding partners of iCourt. In just two or three years, she subverted the entire industry. .

Behind this, there is also hard work, hardship and persistence.

I fly around on weekends and hang out with Teacher Hu on weekdays, thinking about how to make every weekend colorful. In those years, I went to 51 cities, traveled 96 weeks, held 167 training camps, entered 200 law firms, met face to face with more than 6,000 lawyers, and flew more than 108,000 miles... …

Even when you are alone, you have to set up a camera and take videos to correct the subtle deficiencies in your speech and hosting again and again.

The same busyness, even more difficult, but the difference is the state of mind, and enjoyment means everything.

If you sow with tears, you will reap with laughter.

I first met her in Nanjing in June this year, when iCourt held a private board meeting in Nanjing. It was my first time attending an iCourt event, and I almost missed it.

When she saw us, she came over to greet us. She said "Second Senior Brother" and then gave us a warm hug. Unexpectedly, the second senior brother stepped back in confusion and smiled awkwardly, maybe his wife was nearby.

See you again this time, dressed in professional attire, standing at the door with a smile to greet the alumni. The entire event was on site, and it must have been going on for several days.

Juan Juan, iCourt’s youngest post-90s partner, is also the editor-in-chief of iCourt’s public account Fa Xiu, and has a master’s degree from Tsinghua University Law School. This is enough to make me admire him. The key is that he loves sports and has an enviable career. Vest line.

She is the one I follow the most besides Nono.

Everyone in iCourt works very hard, but she is most distinctive. What attracts me most about her is her smile. When she smiles, her eyes are as crescent-shaped as a crescent moon, and the straightforwardness and sincerity behind her smile.

It is said that at iCourt, those who have completed twelve courses will become iCourters, and a graduation ceremony will be held for them in the last class. Once, when an iCourter graduated, Juan Juan learned that he had not been home to spend time with his family for a long time because of his busy work, so he invited his family to the scene without telling him to witness his growth along the way and the glory at graduation. Many people at the scene had red eyes.

I recognized her as soon as I got out of the car in front of the DayOne building. She was wearing a pink suit and beige high-heeled shoes. Her long black hair was fluttering in the wind, and her eyes were smiling like crescent moons. She was elegant and crazy at the same time. Ye, I like girls like this.

There is also Yu Hao, a handsome Taiwanese guy from the Renmin University School of Law. He is the host of this event. He is handsome in suits and ties and is expected to attract countless attention.

What moved me was his warmth. It’s been a bit cool in Beijing after it rained, especially at night. Yu Hao reminded everyone in the group to put on extra clothes when going out and keep warm. When Teacher Hu took a break during his speech, he immediately opened a bottle of mineral water and handed it over.

And his quick wit. One group raised objections to the competition rankings, believing that there was something wrong with the statistics and that their group should win. The list of winners of the competition has been announced, and I'm afraid there may be conflicts if there are any changes at this time. Yu Hao first asked someone to check the original data, and found that there was no problem, and then said that he would send an extra red envelope to this group.

Excellent, only comparative.

Everyone in iCourt is outstanding enough and unique. The average age of the team is only 26 years old, which makes people have to admire these young people.

Here I also met Brother Tao, who we went to Japan to study with. He is over 60 years old and the director of Jiangxi Liuchitiao Law Firm, which is the first purely integrated corporate management law firm in Jiangxi.

What is the concept? It is to change the traditional "work alone" and "alone" type of lawyers in traditional law firms into a close-knit team type, and to change the "one-size-fits-all" lawyer into a professional lawyer. This is a platform for young lawyers to grow rapidly (food, accommodation and training are included). Brother Tao's ideal is to achieve a life state of "having someone to rely on when you are young and someone to rely on when you are old" and "working easily and living happily".

Brother Tao is definitely a forward-looking and caring person. He took the first national bar qualification examination in 1988 and obtained the lawyer's qualification. Then he worked as a lawyer in a state-owned enterprise, resigned in 2000, and founded the first partnership law firm in Shangrao. In 2016, the first purely corporate law firm in Jiangxi was established.

When I first heard the name of his law firm, I thought it was strange, "Liu Chi Tiao"? What does it mean? Could it be six heroes? Forgive me for being uneducated.

Brother Tao is quite educated. The six-foot strip comes from "The Peony Pavilion" written by Tang Xianzu of the Ming Dynasty. It means knowing the etiquette taught by Confucius and not violating the law (written by Xiao He on the bamboo slips). Xiao He's six-foot rule - generally refers to law. Xiao He formulated the nine-chapter law based on the memorial, written on six-foot bamboo, which was the earliest law in the Han Dynasty. Liu Chi Tiao, a decree (law) abbreviated with Liu Chi Bamboo.

He is a veteran student of iCourt, and the model of Liu Chi Tiao Law Firm is exactly the model of future law firms advocated by iCourt.

This time, he also brought two young lawyers from the firm with him, who happened to be in the same group as me. During class, Brother Tao was busy chatting and taking photos. At the end of the course, I met him by the elevator and said hello and farewell to him. He was taking a photo with a girl and was teased by everyone as the "golden boy and beautiful girl." Brother Tao was so happy that he greeted us perfunctorily.

Fangfang, a Shandong Gaomi lawyer who was in my group, I started chatting with her after we sat down. She has been taking iCourt courses since 2014 without much interruption. She said that working as a lawyer is very hard and boring. Every time she takes an iCourt course, she feels like she has been given a shot of blood, and then comes back full of energy.

They have a team of 4 people, and they also implement the iCourt point system. The director takes them to study and handle cases together, and this time their team of 4 people are also here. I asked her what this model was like? She strongly agrees with this model. She has been working for several years and has a stable income. The other two young lawyers in the team have only worked for two years, but under the leadership of the director, excluding social security and other expenses, their annual income reaches 200,000 to 300,000 yuan.

This is not easy in small counties in Shandong.

However, she also said that directors who implement this model are people of great love and must be able to sacrifice themselves and benefit others. Just like their director, in addition to normal business, he also paid to take them for training and travel. However, there are too few such people. Also, some young lawyers will leave and pursue a solo career after being trained.

I am the only one in our group who is taking an iCourt course for the first time, so I am always a little nervous. One of the components of the course is sand table simulation, which mainly considers teamwork. After the rules were announced, everyone immediately took action, and the atmosphere was very solemn. Sister Huang called everyone to implement the division of labor and discuss plans. The discussion on the plan was quite intense, and everyone had their own ideas. The arguments made saliva fly and fingers tremble. I have never seen such a scene, and I couldn't help but become nervous. I am a timid person, and I was afraid that being nervous would affect the entire teamwork, so I quickly took a deep breath. I was too unsure of myself and wanted to change the division of labor with Fangfang. Fangfang encouraged me, "You can do it. It'll be fine. Don't worry." Fortunately, I completed the task calmly, although I didn't win any prize. Afterwards, self-evaluation, other evaluation, mutual evaluation, and review are also required.

There will be another competition in the afternoon. In order to get high scores in the competition, the friends are still discussing how to optimize during lunch time and are still practicing continuously.

“Great achievements lie not in talent, but in being in the right place at the right time and accumulating so much practice.”

Look at this group of interesting people again.

Did you see it? Here they are equal and happy. Did you see it? Why iCourt is so attractive to them.

"It has been reduced to mud and ground into dust, but only the fragrance remains the same." There are always some people who stick to the light deep in their souls and pursue only doing beneficial things.

A group of ordinary people, working towards the same goal, do extraordinary things. The road to the future will grow together.

I like it here.
