As a new teacher, I was deeply touched by this competition. This is not only a competition and improvement, but also a good opportunity to learn.

Through this lecture competition, combined with the judges’ pertinent and accurate evaluations, I found my own shortcomings and the direction of my efforts. First of all, due to lack of time, I was not fully prepared. The lecture materials were a bit simple, and the works included were not used in the textbooks, which was not conducive to demonstrating my entire teaching design. These show that my basic teaching skills are not in place yet, and I must work hard to improve in many aspects and develop in a professional direction.

The key to teaching is to "talk", to talk about teaching objectives, teaching content, teaching ideas, and teaching methods. This is not just a matter of words, but also the basis of a person's teaching theory and the elaboration of teaching ideas. After this lecture competition, I have become more clear about my goals and directions. Today I was fortunate enough to participate in the lecture competition of young teachers within five years. First of all, let me talk about my lecture. The content of my class today is "Year, Month, Day" in the second volume of the third grade. Before preparing the lesson, I did a pre-test in each class of the third grade to understand the students' existing knowledge and experience and be well prepared. I found that the children's knowledge of years, months and days was much less than I expected. Almost no one knew the concept of big and small months, so I immediately had a direction for the next teaching goals. In the process of preparing the lesson, the school's teachings and teachers gave me a lot of guidance, which gave me a better grasp of the teaching materials for this class. I also thought and revised again and again during the lesson preparation, trying to highlight the key points and break through the difficulties as much as possible. However, because I usually have less accumulation, there are many deficiencies in the lecture this time. For example, the lecture manner is not natural enough (maybe it is not suitable for the teaching material). (not internalized enough and not confident enough), not teaching students enough, not highlighting the shining points in their own lesson preparation, etc. In short, there is still a lot of room for improvement in the teaching skills, and I hope to perform better in the next lecture.

Now let me talk about my feelings after listening to what other teachers said in class. During this lecture, many teachers left a deep impression on me. Their natural teaching style seemed to be replayed in my mind, their elegant demeanor, eloquent expressions, and flexibility in teaching methods.
