Former Residence of Poets and Saints-Du Fu Caotang

Du Fu, a poet sage, went to Chengdu with his family to avoid the "Anshi Rebellion". Build a hut in the picturesque Huanhua River in the western suburbs of Chengdu. Du Fu lived here for four years and wrote more than 240 poems.

Du Fu Caotang Museum collects more than 30,000 books of various materials and more than 2,000 cultural relics. Including all kinds of remains of Du Fu's poems in past dynasties, it is the most abundant and well-preserved place about Du Fu's life.

In May 2008, the museum was awarded the first batch of national first-class museums by National Cultural Heritage Administration.

After we entered the gate of Du Fu's Caotang, we entered Daya Gallery. In Daya Gallery, there are many statues of poets of past dynasties. My favorite is Li Bai, "Poet Fairy", a flying and lifelike white marble sculpture.

We walked out of Daya Gallery and into the painting and calligraphy gallery. The decoration in the museum is fresh and refined, with a strong literary atmosphere. We enjoyed the exquisite paintings and calligraphy made by everyone all the way.

After we walked out of the painting and calligraphy museum, we walked into the exhibition hall of ancient books restoration. In the museum, we saw the ancient prose restorers who were working hard.

Day after day, year after year, they are doing the restoration work of ancient prose, so that the original works left by these ancestors can be presented to the world.

After years of baptism and polishing, ancient prose and antiquities will fade and be incomplete. The well-preserved cultural relics we saw in the museum are the result of the silent efforts of antique restorers behind the cultural relics.

On Baidu, the official introduction of "Du Fu Caotang" shows that the annual number of tourists in Du Fu Caotang is over one million. At this time, we also confirmed the official statement.

People visiting Du Fu's Caotang are really in an endless stream. I took my mobile phone, found a good perspective, stood motionless in front of the "Flower Diameter" inscribed by Guo Moruo, a famous historian in China, and looked at the people coming and going. I waited for half an hour before taking this precious photo.

It is said that after four years of growth, Phyllostachys pubescens only grows 3CM. The reason why Phyllostachys pubescens grew so slowly in the first four years is that it buried its roots hundreds of square meters underground.

We walked through the gate and into the quiet path ahead. In the place where Du Fu, a poet, lived, we look for a place that once inspired him.

I wonder who invented the word "crossing". At this time, my eyes became a camera, and these two silent corners became pictures in my eyes, frozen in front of my eyes, making me feel like a lifetime ago.

This poetic environment has brought endless poems to Du Fu, the poet saint.

The first time I saw a thatched cottage. It is old, simple and plain.

Not far from my ear, there were waves of children reading poems neatly.

We searched for the sound and came to the former residence of poet and sage Du Fu's thatched cottage. More than 20 pupils stood neatly in front of the thatched cottage. Under the guidance of the teacher, they recited Du Fu's famous poems.

Walking into Du Fu's thatched cottage, I looked up and saw that the thatched cottage was covered with thatch and the walls of the thatched cottage were made of bamboo.

I carefully looked at these thatched bamboos with a long history and thought about what the thatched cottage looked like when it was first built.
