On the basis of rapid epidemic investigation, the animal husbandry and veterinary administrative department at the same level shall designate epidemic areas and threatened areas, take thorough disinfection and extermination measures for epidemic areas, and implement emergency immunization for susceptible animals in threatened areas.

Three kinds of animal infectious diseases are common and frequent, which may cause great economic losses and need to be controlled and purified. When three kinds of animal infectious diseases occur, the local people's government and the animal husbandry and veterinary department shall organize prevention and purification in accordance with the relevant provisions of the animal epidemic prevention plan and the animal husbandry and veterinary administrative department of the State Council.
