What is an architectural atlas?

Architectural Atlas is a standard design drawing about the same component and standard practice issued by the Ministry of Construction, China Engineering Construction Standardization Association, provincial construction departments and other authoritative departments. Designers can directly refer to some atlas according to the needs of specific projects, thus standardizing and reducing design practice.

There are a large number of atlas of building standards, and they are constantly being supplemented and revised. There are dozens of volumes, and at present there are mainly two for authoritative reference.

Main types and applications of architectural atlas

Architectural atlas and architectural drawings mainly reflect the appearance and modeling of buildings, the forms and positions of roofs, doors and windows, balconies, awnings and steps, and the vertical height of buildings.
