Comment on Yu Dan's The Analects of Confucius

I have been reading the Analects of Confucius by Professor Yu Dan recently. First of all, I want to say that this is a very good book.

Every time I go to the bookstore, there are all kinds of books that teach people how to be a man, how to deal with life setbacks and how to deal with things. These so-called "chicken soup for the soul" caters to the necessary understanding and spiritual comfort that people who are in "spiritual collision" in today's complex society need. Among these books, I think Professor Yu Dan's The Analects of Confucius is the most worth reading.

I remember when I was in middle school, The Analects of Confucius and Zhuangzi were all profound things in my eyes, although I memorized them in the education of adding ducks. Why not keep pace with the times? Is it not delightful to have friends coming from distant quarters? People who don't know and don't care are not as good as gentlemen, such catchy sentences as "people who don't know and don't care about their own politics" and "people who don't have foresight will have near worries", but their understanding of these words is superficial and casual. After reading Professor Yu Dan's book, I know the greatness of Confucius, and I also know that the profound Analects of Confucius was not out of reach in the past. Professor Yu Dan said: "What The Analects tells you is always the simplest." "The real meaning of The Analects of Confucius is to tell everyone how to live a happy life that we need in our hearts." Therefore, when I read this book carefully, I was deeply impressed by Professor Dan's wonderful exposition of modern society and modern people's life through The Analects!
