Talk about eight hundred views

Sohu Film recently took stock of the top ten filmmakers in 2020. Because of the epidemic in 2020, the film industry in China has never been depressed except in recent decades. In order to prevent and control the epidemic, there was a gap of 178 days in the cinema. There is no new film released this 178 day. Even if the epidemic is under control, there is no film. The sparse audience made the producers afraid to release the film casually, so they could only put it off again and again. In the special year when only 299 domestic cinema films were released, many excellent films left a deep impression on us.

One second, balloon, 800, a little red flower, farewell, Jindu, tropical rain and uncle? Uncle, Sunny, long time no see, Wuhan is on the list. These ten films have word-of-mouth movies with box office over 100 million, and some are unknown to the public. They appeared when the film fell into the freezing point, and with the recovery of the epidemic, they brought some light to the film market. I haven't seen any of these ten films, but Farewell and Eight Hundred Years are my two favorite ones.

First of all, let's talk about Farewell, which will be released before the epidemic in early 2020. It tells the story of a girl from China who lives in the United States, returning to her family in China and feeling different warmth and ways of getting along with her family. It reflects the great differences between Chinese and American cultures and family values, and also shows the warmth and affection of China people for her native land. A film with cultural differences between China and China gives people a completely different view of family ties from a different angle.

On the other hand, 800 years is different from farewell. This is the first movie in China with a box office of over 100 million yuan after the cinema resumed work. It tells the story of China soldiers sticking to the Sifang warehouse before the Battle of Songhu. Emotionally, the whole article tells a good story about the cruelty of war. From the lens language, it is artistic and tragic, especially when the river does not cross the border and the life on both sides of the strait is completely different, which highlights the courage of our soldiers. Although the final outcome, very emotional, was a big failure. But I have to boast that the overall completion of this film is still very high.

If "Eight Hundred" and "Farewell" can only choose one movie as my favorite in 2020, then I think it must be "Eight Hundred", because besides the film itself, the film carries too much historical significance, and also because this special historical time is more tragic, impressive and unforgettable.
