First of all, herbivores have no natural enemies, and the only limiting factor is food, so they breed in large numbers, and even eat many places for thousands of miles without grass, just like the sight of locusts;

Then, herbivores have no natural enemies and can only die of hunger, disease, struggle and aging. Dead animal carcasses are not cleaned up by carnivores and scavengers, and pile up everywhere to rot, giving off stench and spreading diseases;

Finally, due to the lack of plants and food sources, herbivores were forced to eat other herbivores to feed themselves in a state of extreme hunger, thus gradually re-evolving carnivores and restoring the balance of nature.
