Usually, the welding of PP board is by thermal welding. Hot gas welding process

The hot gas used can be air or inert gas, such as nitrogen (for oxidative degradation of sensitive materials). Gas and parts must be dry and free of dust and grease. The edges of parts shall be chamfered before welding, or two parts shall form an angle. Both parts are clamped in the fixture to ensure their correct positions. Hot gas welding is generally a manual operation. The welder holds the welding tool with one hand and presses covered electrode into the welding zone with the other hand. Obviously, the quality of the weld depends largely on the skills of the welder. The welding speed and quality can be improved by using welding tools modified from negative or roller and increasing the control of welding pressure.
