Rural people are very confused.

Friends who have lived on the mountain know that every autumn, all kinds of wild fruits on the mountain are ripe, and one is called acorn tree. When the acorns mature in autumn, a layer of acorns will fall under the tree. Although acorns are very similar to hairy chestnuts, hairy chestnuts are edible and acorns taste very astringent, they can be picked and fed to pigs, and sometimes they can be sold for money.

Every year when the acorns are ripe, the villagers will go to the mountains to pick them. Acorn trees mostly grow in the depths of mountains. Generally, these trees are relatively large and far from the village. The villagers all get up early, have breakfast before dawn, and then carry dry food up the mountain. They can't go home until dark, but rural people don't spend the night in the mountains, even if it is very late.

Once a neighbor's husband went to the mountain to pick up acorns in the early morning and came home very late. Until the next day, the family was in a hurry and asked many villagers to go up the mountain to find him. Fortunately, his family also knew where he might have gone and found him soon.

When the villagers found him, he was walking around a big tree with half a bag of acorns on his back. He walked out of a path under the tree. When the villagers called him, he woke up and sat on the ground.

After waking up, he didn't know what had happened, and he was dumbfounded by the footprints he had stepped on underground. After returning home, the old people in the village said: This is the experience of "confused children". The old people say, "a confused child" is an animal. It usually hides in a secret place in the mountains. If someone passes by, it will release a gas, which will make people hallucinate.
