Provenance textual research

Most of the 36 people in Sung River Uprising in history have no names. The character Lin Chong first appeared in Song and Yuan Dynasties' Legacy of Song Dynasty. The Legacy of Xuanhe in the Great Song Dynasty is one of the original versions of Water Margin, in which there is no separate account of Lin Chong's deeds, and the image is very vague. However, there is no Lin Chong's name in Song Jiang's Thirty-six Praises (another original version of Water Margin) and Yuan Zaju Water Margin.
