What's the difference between hotels, homestays and apartments?

Hotels are generally larger. They are buildings with many rooms, high grade, standardized management and relatively expensive. The area of B&B is much smaller. Probably a small private house. The residents inside will transform the room and turn it into a guest room. Usually there are only a few to a dozen or twenty rooms. The price is relatively affordable. This apartment is a small apartment built by the developer, with a bathroom and possibly a kitchen. People usually buy investment and rent it to others to earn rent.
