On the passive voice in grade three.

There are limits to the conversion between active sentences and passive sentences.

Not all active sentences and passive sentences can be converted to each other, which is closely related to the types of verbs. For example, own and have can express all relationships, but the former can be used in passive sentences, while the latter can't. For example:

Bob owns a house in the city.

This house belongs to Bob.

Bob has a house in the city.

The house belongs to Bob.

There are also some static verbs, such as have (as a solution to "have"), which are usually not dynamic. For example:

This quiet little room suits me very well.

This plane can hold about 150 people.

These students are inexperienced.

She resembles her sister in appearance, but not in character.

The color of this dress doesn't suit her.
