What is the technical principle of thermal imaging?

In nature, all objects whose temperature is higher than absolute zero (-273. 15℃) radiate infrared rays all the time. The physical essence of infrared radiation is thermal radiation and electromagnetic wave.

Thermal imaging technology is to change invisible infrared radiation into visible thermal image and convert the data into corresponding temperature image.

Different objects, even different parts of the same object, have different radiation ability and reflection intensity to infrared rays. Using the radiation difference between the object and the background environment and the radiation difference of each part of the scene itself, the infrared thermogram can show the radiation fluctuation of each part of the scene, thus showing the characteristics of the scene.
