Happy diary

Since the second half of 2001, the diary education carried out in our school has been promoted to the first grade for the first time. It is also the first time in my many years of teaching lower grades that I have formally contacted and guided children to write diaries. It feels fresh and joyful.

I very much welcome the development of diary education. Judging from the teaching suggestions on "writing" in the "Chinese Curriculum Standards", it is required to "reduce the difficulty in the initial stage and focus on cultivating students' writing interest and self-confidence." "Students are required to tell the truth, the truth, and what is in their hearts, not Tell lies, empty words, and clichés. "Emphasize students' independent writing." What can be better than writing a diary to truly realize independent writing, truly achieve "resignation when moved", truly feel the world with your heart, and tell the truth, the truth, and what is in your heart? Carry out diary education research in the first grade, so that children can learn to use language flexibly to express their inner feelings as early as possible. This can not only cultivate the beautiful feelings of loving the motherland's language and characters, but also enjoy the fun of free expression of "I write my heart with my hand". Why not do such a meaningful thing?

As for myself, I like to write freely, so I also like to keep a diary. First-grade children are new to diaries. I hope the requirements are not too high and the format is not boring. I try to make them feel the joy of writing diaries and enjoy the success of writing diaries. To achieve this goal, I focused on the following research.

1. Start a good diary and stimulate interest.

I remember writing a diary entry with my children on December 25, 2001 - a Christmas day. At that time, I said happily: Children, let’s write a diary! "Wow, wow!" the children responded happily. "But, Teacher Shen, what is a diary?" the children asked curiously, blinking their big eyes. "A diary is to write down fun and funny things; it is to write down interesting things that you see and hear. For example, today is an interesting day, you know?" The children started talking. After discussion, we decided to write the first diary entry like this: "Today, I started to learn to write a diary. Interestingly, today is the New Year of foreigners - Christmas. I wonder if this diary was given to us children by Santa Claus. "A gift?" Although the diary is very short, the children were very excited to write in pinyin.

The second time we wrote a diary together, what a coincidence, it was snowing. The children were running, jumping, laughing and shouting in the snow, they were so happy. So I inspired them: "What makes you happiest today?" "Of course it's snowing!" The children said in unison. "Okay, let's write about today's snow." "Great! Great!" The children cheered. "So, when did you find it snowing and how did you run out to see it? Are the snowflakes big and what do they look like? What did you do in the snow? Are you happy? What do you think you look like?" the children recalled happily. I wrote a lovely diary: Just after the second class in the afternoon, I heard someone shouting: It’s snowing! It's snowing! We rushed out of the classroom. White snowflakes fell from the sky, small and thin, like salt and sugar. We ran, jumped, laughed and shouted in the snow, like a bunch of wild little spotted dogs. The children laughed happily while writing and reminiscing.

That’s it. In the initial stage of diary, when I guide children *** to write diaries together, I can always discover that everyone has the same experience, *** is interested in the same, and ** *Materials with rich experiences and feelings guide them to think, grasp the details and insights that most touch the soul, and describe and taste them in detail.

2. Innovate the form of diary to highlight the interest.

Diaries should be a natural expression of the soul, but in our case, we creatively use diaries as an excuse to guide students to learn more about the richness, variety, change, and profoundness of the motherland’s language. Therefore, our diaries are flexible, lively and cute, making them more popular among children.

For example: Poetry diary, such as "Little Raindrops"

March 12th

Wednesday was cloudy

Raindrops fell into the garden, Dancing on the petals.

Raindrops fell on the rocks and rested on them.

The raindrops fell into the spring and played in the spring.

The raindrops fell on the lotus leaves and floated on them.

The raindrops fell on the window and the piano was played on the window.

Ci Chuan Rhyme Diary: For example, "My Home":

Tuesday, April 29, Xiaoyu

Only daughter of mom and dad

Sofa Table lamp kitchen room

Air conditioning TV radio

Travel life and learning again

Photo diary: Pick a favorite photo and write a few sentences next to it, such as:

Cloudy Tuesday, February 25th

This is one of my favorite photos. It was taken in a supermarket when I was seven years old. Knock, I smile so brightly in the photo, dimples appear on my face, and even the surrounding night becomes gentle.

Imagination diary, such as: "If I were Football"

Tuesday, May 20, Sunny

My name is Football, and I am a good partner for children.

In physical education class, I was the most popular among the children. On the green lawn, boys and girls were chasing me. They would chase me wherever I rolled. A dozen children circled around me, sweating from exhaustion, but they were still very happy.

On Sunday, parents took their children to the park to play football. The children saw it and started kicking together. Although they were sweating profusely, everyone had a great time.

TV football games bring more happiness to people.

I am really proud of myself as a football.

There are also painting diaries and leaf diaries... When we open our diaries, what comes into view are innocent and cute photos of children, leaves forming various patterns, and the fusion of poetry and painting. No one can put it down, and everyone will praise: It turns out that writing a diary can be so interesting!

3. Life is the source of diary, which is endless fun.

When children fall in love with writing diaries, weekly group writing is far from meeting their needs. Children often chase me and ask: "Teacher Shen, can you write a diary today?" Yeah? "Since the children are so motivated, and I really want to let go, reduce the constraints, and let the children write more personalized diaries, then I will completely delegate the choice of writing diaries and go home freely. Just write.

Children’s lives are wonderful and their creativity is great. Look, these diaries exude the breath of life and flow with childishness:

Love on Sunday, May 18

My mother bought some broad beans today, and I am very happy. Because we can compete in peeling broad beans.

We poured the broad beans on the ground, took two bowls, and with mother’s order, the game started.

I first peeled off the coat of the broad beans, revealing the tender mung beans, took them out and put them in a bowl.

After a while, I looked at my mother’s bowl. There were already many beans in it. I secretly cheered myself up, peeling faster and faster, and finally caught up with my mother and surpassed her, winning the victory!

Friday, May 23 Sunny

Yesterday, the teacher assigned an assignment to protect an egg.

After I got home, I took an egg and wrapped it in a handkerchief. Then I took a box and put a red scarf in the box, and then put the wrapped egg in the box.

After school today, I carefully kept my eggs for fear of accidentally breaking them. In the afternoon, some students’ eggs were broken, but my eggs were intact due to my efforts. I was so happy!

4. Carry out diary exchanges and share happiness.

I love reading children’s diaries most. Sometimes I nod and smile, sometimes I chant aloud. Such a lovely diary, how could you not share it with your children? So, I took time to read the diary to the children every day.

Let the children tell you, do you like them and what is your favorite place? For example, a diary written by a child named Wang Shengxia, which I named "Grandma's Melon Field", is very beautiful and moving, full of the natural flavor of rural scenery. The excerpt is as follows: "We passed through a country road covered with weeds and saw a large melon field. The small area next to the river was grandma's melon field." "I saw the green leaves trying to grow around, growing very lush. Through the green leaves, I saw small yellow flowers. Under the small flowers, I was pleasantly surprised to see a small oval watermelon with a layer of fluff on it. "I said softly! While reading, the children listened quietly. Everyone spread the wings of imagination and went to the beautiful countryside and wandered in the green melon fields. How poetic! We were so intoxicated in that paradise that it took us a long time to react, and we suddenly burst into warm applause. Yes, after being nurtured, our children's appreciation ability has been significantly improved. They are so keen on discovering beauty, and they are extremely happy to enjoy the beauty.

5. Evaluation focuses on affirming incentives and gaining joy.

In the continuous communication, the children who wrote excellent diaries certainly gained great joy and satisfaction, and fell in love with diary writing more and more. We will also read out the diaries that were written in a less serious and unsatisfactory way. On the one hand, we will find problems together and put forward revision suggestions to guide the writing. For example: What kind of diary is called a "living account" cannot be so comprehensive; what kind of diary is not specific, we can ask many questions and ask the author to explain it. The more important aspect is that these children also get the opportunity to show their diaries. The teacher can read out their revised diaries and diaries that have made progress again and again, give affirmation and enthusiastic praise. These children also get the joy of being noticed and noticed. Of course, I don't insist that the diary must be very specific. If it has words, it will be long, and if it doesn't, it will be short. The requirements are different for children of different levels. For example, if Jin Zheng and Xu Wang, who don't like to do homework, can write a few sentences clearly and fluently, I will read out the diary and praise them greatly.

6. Show the results of the diary and taste the success.

In order to let the children taste the sweet fruits of hard work, and to enhance the children's confidence in writing diaries and strengthen their determination to write diaries, in addition to submitting and publishing some excellent diaries in our school's "Flying Hope Diary" "Selected", I also selected the progress diaries of the whole class of children, collected them and published them, and each person has one volume to appreciate and learn from each other. I believe that children who have tasted the joy of success will love to keep diaries in the years to come. I hope that the writing of diaries will accompany the children throughout their lives, not only as a reflection of their Chinese literacy skills, but also as a lifelong moral race.
