A few days ago, the large-scale photovoltaic and wind energy integrated energy storage power station in Baojun Base, developed by SAIC-GM-Wuling, was officially put into use, with energy storage of 1 1,000 kWh and rated power of 250 kW. It is the first power battery energy storage system in Guangxi. The power station is built with Baojun E 100 and Baojun E200 power batteries retired in the R&D stage. By fully tapping the residual energy of retired batteries, the batteries are tested and reorganized to reach the usable standard, and then recycled. It is an innovative exploration of turning waste into treasure.

The energy storage power station is like a super-capacity "charging treasure". Through smart microgrid technology, electric energy is stored from the power grid when the electricity consumption is low, and solar energy and wind energy are absorbed by photovoltaic and wind power generation systems every day and converted into electric energy, which is stored in the energy storage system; At the peak of electricity consumption, it is used as a power source to release electric energy to supply power to the power grid, effectively filling the power gap, giving play to the energy storage function of power batteries, and providing a new model for building a new industrial ecology.

It is reported that SAIC-GM-Wuling has also invested a lot in V2G/V2H, base trailers and forklifts, lithium batteries for AGV vehicles and on-board solar photovoltaic technology. In the future, Hong Guang Mini? EV's retired batteries will also be gradually recycled, generating new value.
