Reflections on the Teaching of the Puppet Army March

I think the most important purpose of music teaching is to cultivate students' perception of music works, to cultivate students' rich emotions, vivid images and outstanding elements in their works, to enable students to learn some knowledge or skills from "not knowing" and to improve their musical aesthetic ability. A qualitative leap can be achieved in 40 minutes. After learning this week's song "March of the Puppet Army", I have some feelings and thoughts, which are summarized as follows:

1. In the part that follows the rhythm of music, we can't ignore musical hearing, and all teaching links should "serve" music. The original intention of designing rhythm link is to make boring music knowledge available to students in middle schools and schools in a form that they are more willing to accept. However, there are only joyful and lively scenes in the process, but the students' musical hearing and rhythmic entertainment are ignored, so everyone can teach music lessons.

2. There is no right or wrong in music class. Every answer is the result of children's thinking, which is dynamically generated and cannot be preset. As soon as I encounter this unexpected mistake, I am entangled in my preset "correct answer", which is very helpless. Why not encourage and respect students' thinking achievements and turn "mistakes" into "treasures" and "mistakes" into teaching resources? For example, if a child watches an animation, I said, please describe what kind of story is expressed in the video after watching it. As a result, some children got up and said that the puppet had no legs, a shadow was helping the mouse and so on. Although these children didn't tell the whole story, it also shows that they all read it carefully. So you can't deny other people's answers. Instead, we should praise their careful observation and then guide them correctly, which will have better results.

3. "It is most important for children to practice and compose music by themselves" (Orff). In the whole listening part of the lead-in, let the students listen to the music and enter the dream, talk about their feelings and guide them to express their happy feelings. In this part, I "let go" to let students think freely and give full play to their creativity. Then, in the accompaniment of musical instruments, should we also choreograph students' musical instruments and movements, boldly let students practice and experience themselves, gain their own understanding, and then guide students to create according to the requirements!
