Introduction to Chifeng Evergreen Park

Changqing Park is the first comprehensive park in the history of our city. It was built in 1959 and is located in the center of the city. It now covers an area of ??6.3 hectares. It was renamed People's Park in 1966 and restored to Evergreen Park in 1982. In the 1960s, the park originally had two kinds of animals, and later gradually added peacocks, nutria, wolves, etc. A greenhouse was built in 1961, Zhichunting and Huanyuan Road were built in 1964, and brown bears were introduced. A rockery was built in 1965. Later, through the efforts of Changqing people, there are now more than ten scenic spots in the park. The entire garden is connected by roads and has pleasant scenery. There are nearly 3,199 plants of nearly 100 species, and more than 500 animals of 45 species, providing citizens with an elegant leisure and entertainment place.
