But now that Beifu is gone, the company we worked so hard to run has changed its name and surname. The equity income obtained through this share transfer is to kill the goose that lays the golden egg, which is really helpless. Nevertheless, our chairman Zhang Bingxin gave us generous rewards and feedback, and I am very grateful.

Maybe everyone is curious, Ma Ling, how did you do it? In just a few years, how did you become CEO from a grassroots employee? Is it a hidden rule? I said, are these people stupid? A boss handed over a company with a registered capital of 654.38 billion and a market value of 600 million to an incompetent person? "Well, how can you be so lucky?" Let me focus on why I am so lucky.
Before I joined Bepay, I had two experiences of entrepreneurship and employment failure. I work hard, but the result is not satisfactory, so I know the hardships of starting a business and cherish it ~
Next, I will focus on sharing some of my experiences in Beifu for five years. First of all, choice is more important than hard work. Don't be afraid of loss, because you either get it or learn to seize the opportunity.
When I first joined Beifu, I was only the Commissioner of the President's Office, responsible for administrative work such as project declaration and software product certification. Because I often deal with product technicians, third-party payment was a new industry at that time, and product managers were very scarce. Just dig people from established payment companies such as Alipay and Quick Money, and the salary is not grounded. I only care about my own land. I asked them to cooperate with me to give out the project application materials and product documents. At this moment, what would you do if it were you? Complaining at every meeting? Put pressure on your superiors? Or tell the leader that it is difficult and ask for a lower assessment index? I don't have any advantages, but I am practical. I just want to solve the problem, without taking credit.
How did I do it? I go to the product department every day to serve tea and water, understand their difficulties and try my best to solve their problems. Although I often stick my face to the cold, I believe that as long as I am sincere, I will always touch him. Of course, I do do practical things, such as finding him a template of documents, and then making an outline for them to fill in the key contents. I will process and modify it myself and change it to the requirements. The pain at that time was ignorance of the product. Fortunately, I have done this several times, and found that it is actually not difficult, as long as I get the product prototype, because the product manager may not have time to write detailed documents, but I definitely need to have business processes and product prototypes, so I will write documents by myself through the prototype, and I don't have to ask my grandfather to tell my grandmother to serve those guys anymore.
Then one day, the director of the product department came to me and asked me if I should be transferred to the product department. I'm short of staff now, and my writing style is good, but with my current qualifications, I can only work as a product assistant, and my administrative level is equivalent to the first level, but my salary is not reduced.
If the above is the result of hard work, the following is the importance of choice. Many people may feel that there are too many things and their wages are not rising. Why are you going? At that time, my position had no room for improvement because of the president's office. On the contrary, product managers have high gold content and can't touch the ceiling, so they have been able to break through and improve. More importantly, the core talents of Internet companies are products and technologies. I am still interested in the key and suitable for product work. So I readily accepted the olive branch extended by the product director. At that time, I only made one request, that is, leave some time for me to finish the work at hand before recruiting the right person. Because good start and good end, there is good luck!
So that's what I do. I'm not afraid of losing money if I do too much. I will always remember "You either get it or learn it", and I must work harder. I will learn to read books and articles in my spare time, step by step from product assistant to product manager to senior product manager and then to the person in charge of product department.
It's luck, but also because of my choice. Because I became a product manager, I had the honor to meet the chairman. We cooperated in the 20xx rabbit wallet project to design products together. In 20xx, due to the employee stock ownership plan, the chairman recommended me to be the CEO of Bepay. At that time, the company recruited CEO with an annual salary of one million. I volunteered, but I feel guilty. Before applying, I asked the chairman for advice. Do you think I can do it? The chairman said it was not difficult. If you buy shares first, you can become the employee with the most shares in the company. So I borrowed money from my friends and became CEO. I hope everyone remembers to give up before you get it.
The chairman is wise. At first, I didn't understand why core employees must become shareholders. Later, when I became CEO, I realized that it was inevitable to encounter difficulties and setbacks in my work, but some people would not resist pressure, would be impulsive and would forget their original intention. Therefore, an invisible force is needed to retain people and people who are valuable to the enterprise.
Speaking of which, I think "courage" is very important. We should believe in ourselves, be brave in taking responsibility, dare to sacrifice small profits, seize opportunities, constantly break through ourselves and improve ourselves. Because when you ascend to this height, you see and think from a completely different angle, just like the beautiful scenery you saw halfway up the mountain, but you don't know that you climbed to the top of the mountain to overlook the grandeur and vastness of the whole mountain.
Finally, I want to say "I am grateful"
There must be a teacher in a threesome. If we keep learning, absorbing and improving ourselves, we will meet better people. The good man I met was the chairman, who was my benefactor.
Because it is the first time to be a CEO, it is inevitable to bump into each other. I am not good at dealing with the world. It's a shame to think that the offending person went to the chairman to save the scene. At that time, I was in pain and felt that I had worked hard. Why is the result still unsatisfactory? In fact, all my efforts are a sign of my incompetence. My difficulty was insignificant to the chairman, and I solved it as soon as I came forward. But the chairman still pays me a high salary, and I can't live up to my expectations. So I learned from the chairman, starting with the most stupid methods, that is, "implementation" and "firm implementation." I will fight wherever the chairman points, and I will understand that the CEO's so-called CEO is to implement the company's strategy in place, and the natural result will be fine.
Chairman Zhang Bingxin, my benefactor, taught me not only the method of running a business, but also the principle of dealing with others, that is, "think of others and do what he wants before him", which made me realize the truth of "altruism". Only by thinking of others can others think of you, so that they can truly understand you and your seriousness.
When I was fighting for the interests of employees, you taught me that "it is better to teach people to fish than to teach them to fish", and implemented the employee stock ownership plan, so that employees can participate in business operations, let us learn to read financial reports, make corporate finance transparent, let shareholding employees participate in shareholders' meetings, participate in business decisions, and let us discuss decisions and be responsible for our own business decisions.
