How to hatch myna eggs with an incubator?

Hatching myna is very difficult.

The breeding period of wild myna is from February to May, and it can breed 1~2 times a year. In early spring, we began to nest in tree holes, with weeds, twigs, feathers and so on. Each nest lays 3-4 eggs, the eggs are oval, and the eggshells are bright blue-green with lavender and reddish-brown spots. The brooding period is 15~ 18 days. When the chicks hatch, both male and female parents are fed, but the females are the main ones in the early stage. After half a month, males feed birds more often than females.

The cage where parents live must be big enough, because it is related to the health of both parents. Anyone who wants to breed myna can realize how difficult it is to prepare a breeding cage for them. Many myna breeders make their own breeding boxes. The method is to combine the two cages into one, remove one side of the two cages, and then connect them, thus making a cage long enough.
