Why does it rain when it thunders?

Before discharge, the water droplets between clouds repel each other because of the same charge, so it is difficult to combine into large water droplets. After discharge, they will combine into big raindrops. 3. Water drops in the clouds float in the air under the action of air buoyancy and updraft, and lightning will cause severe vibration to the clouds, resulting in raindrops falling. The same is true when you shake the branches after the rain, and the water drops on the branches will fall.
