I used to believe in Buddhism, but now I don't want to. I want to convert to Taoism. What should I do?

I think it is my freedom to convert to which Sect, and there is nothing wrong with it. However, it is somewhat inappropriate to say that abandoning Buddhism and converting to Taoism is to abandon darkness and cast light on it.

Because the ultimate goal should be the same. Taoism stresses the unity of heaven and man, while Buddhism stresses the emptiness, all of which lead us to a good path.

Buddhism says that law does not depend on people, not what people who believe in Buddhism do, but what Buddhists say. If Buddhists don't act according to Buddhism, or even violate Buddhism, they are not real Buddhists, or they haven't become real Buddhists yet. Why punish yourself with other people's mistakes?

Is it Buddha or demon? Is it heaven or hell? Sometimes it's just between our thoughts.

Whether you believe in Buddhism or not, according to the classics, following the teachings is the real abandonment of darkness. Otherwise, how do you know if you have thrown yourself into the darkness again?

Since religions such as Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism exist, there must be reasons for their existence, which is beyond our control.
