Who knows about stx Shipyard in Korea? Can you tell me about it?

STX Group became the first Korean enterprise to build a shipyard in China.

Although Samsung Heavy Industries and Daewoo Shipbuilding Ocean have built or are building a large-scale iron structure "block" production plant for manufacturing ships in China before, it is the first time to build a shipyard with a complete new ship in China. STX plans to achieve sales of $3 billion (about 2.8 trillion won) in China Shipyard by 212.

on the 3th of last month, the foundation laying ceremony of "STX Dalian Shipbuilding and Marine Comprehensive Production Base" was held in Changxing Island, Dalian, Liaoning Province, China. STX will invest 1 billion US dollars to build a shipyard and pulley factory by the first half of next year, and then build production equipment and engine assembly factories such as casting, forging and pipe making factories. In other words, a vertical serial ship production system will be built from raw material processing to trial operation.

STX is scheduled to be the first phase of the project until the first half of next year, and will invest 45 million US dollars to build a shipyard and pulley factory. From the second half of next year, it will start to build medium-sized bulk carriers (ordinary cargo ships), petroleum products carriers and car carriers that are relatively easy to manufacture. STX shows that in Dalian Shipyard, a large number of general-purpose ships are produced, while in Zhenhai Shipyard, high value-added ships such as LNG (liquefied natural gas) ships and VLCC (super tanker) are mainly manufactured, thus forming a "strategic differentiation" system.
