How miserable was the emperor of the Song Dynasty, Huizong was burned out? Song Lizong's head turned into a wine cup, Song Taizu was the most unlucky

In the history of China, dynasties have come and gone continuously. Any dynasty mentioned is the most powerful country in the world at that time. But it happened to be only the Song Dynasty. Whenever anyone mentioned him, they were either scolded or insulted. The economy of the Song Dynasty was so developed, but it was always weak in making peace with the outside world. It can be said that the most famous thing about the Song Dynasty was not its promising and wise emperors, but its few humiliated emperors.

After Huizong's death, he was boiled into lamp oil, and Song Lizong was even worse. After his death, his head was chopped off and made into a wine bowl, which was used for hundreds of years.

Song Huizong was undoubtedly a great artist with four unique qualities: poetry, calligraphy, calligraphy and painting, but he was definitely not a good emperor. Under his rule, the Song Dynasty was besieged internally and externally. In the end, the Jin people conquered Bianliang, and he was plundered and headed north. On the way north, even Song Huizong himself suffered humiliation and torture, not to mention the accompanying female family members of Emperor Ji. This shameful incident was called the "Shame of Jingkang".

After arriving in the Jin Kingdom, Song Huizong Zhao Ji was forced to perform the ceremony of leading a sheep in the Jin Kingdom's Ancestral Temple, and also accepted the humiliating title of Hunde Gong. He always believed that it was feasible for Wang Shi to conquer the Central Plains in the north, so he survived down.

Hunde Gong Zhao Ji still had several concubines in the Jin Kingdom. Although his living conditions were very simple, he still gave birth to many children in the Jin Kingdom. There are 72 registered children of Song Huizong, including 38 sons and 34 daughters. More than ten of them were born in the Kingdom of Jin.

After nine years of humiliating life in the Jin Kingdom, Zhao Ji, the Duke of Hunde, died angrily. After his death, his body was boiled into lamp oil by the local people, and the Jin people buried him in Guangning, Henan. Seven years later, the Jin people granted Zhao Ji the title of Prince of Tianshui County, and sent the coffins of Zhao Ji and his son, as well as Queen Mother Wei herself, back to the Southern Song Dynasty.

Let’s talk about Song Lizong Zhao Yun. Zhao Yun's real name is Zhao Yuju. He is not a prince, but a distant nephew of Emperor Ningzong of the Song Dynasty. He is so desolate that he doesn't look like a relative of the emperor. He is similar to Uncle Liu Huang who sold straw sandals in the past. But something was going wrong. All eight of Song Ningzong's sons died in infancy, and the newly established prince died again. In the end, after much selection, Prime Minister Shi Miyuan chose Zhao Yun, and Zhao Yun ascended to the throne in one step and became the emperor.

Song Lizong has been in power for 40 years, which can be regarded as 40 years of happiness. During his reign, he was basically dominated by powerful ministers. He had no prestige in the court and could only indulge in wine and sex. Allowing treacherous ministers to rule, the country's fortunes declined sharply. Lizong of the Song Dynasty died in Lin'an in the fifth year of Jingding (1264) and was buried in Yongmu Mausoleum of Kuaiji Prefecture the following year. In 1276, Lin'an, the capital of the Southern Song Dynasty, was captured, and most of the Central Plains was controlled by the Yuan Dynasty.

Tibetan Buddhism was prevalent in the Yuan Dynasty at that time, and the Buddhist monk Yang Liangzhenjia was appointed as the "President of Jiangnan Buddhist Capital". Yang Liangzhenjia took advantage of his position and started robbing tombs for a living. Several emperors' tombs in the Southern Song Dynasty were looted by him, and the most unlucky one was Song Lizong. When Yang Liazhenjia led people to open the lid of Lizong's coffin, a burst of white air rushed out, and he saw Lizong lying peacefully as if sleeping, with the pearly aura lingering around his body. It turns out that Song Lizong's body was embalmed and well preserved.

After Yang Liazhenjia robbed all the treasures in the coffin, he hung Lizong's body upside down, pried away the luminous pearl in his mouth, and drained the mercury in his abdomen. Because Song Lizong's "skull was quite large", he cut off his skull cruelly, scraped off the carrion, and made it into a wine bowl. It was surrounded by gold and silver jewelry, and he must bring it to every cocktail party. Later, this wine bowl was given to the rulers of the Yuan Dynasty. Lizong originally wanted his body to remain immortal after death, but he didn't expect it to end like this. It's really surprising.

What is even more outrageous is that Yang Lian actually mixed the bones of emperors with the bones of cattle and horses and buried them together in the Lin'an Forbidden City. He also built a thirteen-foot-tall tower on it, called the "Zhenben Tower", to suppress the king's anger in the Southern Song Dynasty. It was not until 1367 that Zhu Yuanzhang launched his Northern Expedition and captured Yuan Dadu. Hearing that Song Lizong's head had become the drinking bowl of the Yuan Dynasty emperor, Zhu Yuanzhang sighed and sent someone to retrieve it.

Zhao Taizu had his tomb robbed and humiliated his corpse

In the last years of the Jin Dynasty, various tomb robbers were popular all over the country. In the Henan area, there was a tomb robber named Zhu Qi Lian, who was also considered an experienced tomb robber. After many investigations, the exact location of Zhao Kuangyin's tomb was finally found.

Then, taking advantage of the dark and windy night, they gathered more than a dozen people and opened Zhao Kuangyin's tomb.

As for the funerary objects inside, I don’t need to say much. They were basically all stolen. But Zhu Qi Lian still refused to give up, always feeling that good things must be carried with him.

So I used the guy I brought with me to forcefully knock open Zhao Kuangyin's coffin. But the strange thing is that there is no foul smell coming from inside. As Zhu Qi Lian expected, there were indeed a lot of good things inside.

The funerary objects next to Zhao Kuangyin are basically very easy to get. But Zhao Kuangyin had a jade belt with a dragon pattern inlaid with a gold thallium tail. As a veteran with a red face, he knew it was priceless at a glance, so he went up and wanted to take it off.

But this is a jade belt, which is easy to break, and it is still tied around the waist. If you want to take it down, you must convince Zhao Kuangyin. However, Zhao Kuangyin had a "fat head and big ears", and after being placed in the coffin for many years, he was a little "fat and swollen" and difficult to move. Zhuqi Lian, who had many years of experience in tomb robbing, took out a rope from his body. Then he asked the brother next to him to help him and tied the rope around Zhao Kuangyin's creaking nest. But trying to pull him up is a bit difficult for one person.

So Zhu Qilian was holding the rope in front, and the other brother was supporting Zhao Kuangyin's back from behind. The two men shouted the slogan "one, two, three," and with some effort, they finally helped Zhao Kuangyin sit up. But as soon as Zhao Kuangyin sat up, he saw a mouthful of ink spurting out of his mouth.

The red-painted face standing directly in front of Zhao Kuangyin’s coffin was sprayed all over his face. Since it was relatively dark in the tomb, Zhu Qi Lian just touched it casually and didn't feel anything unusual. There was just a faint stench, which was normal for corpses to stink.

I thought that with this jade belt, what would happen if I got sprayed again? Without thinking about what happened on his face, he ran home after distributing the dirt that night. But when I got home and washed it, I found that it couldn't be washed off no matter how hard I washed it, so I got the nickname "Zhuqi Lian".

Zhuqi Lian didn’t think much about it. He just felt that his complexion was different, so he regarded it as a birthmark, since he couldn’t see it anyway. Besides, once you have money, who dares to talk about yourself after you go out? Of course, if you don’t monetize things, no matter how good they are, they will remain just things.

So Zhu Qimian went out with the dirt to sell the stolen goods, but not long after he went out, he was recognized as dirt and reported to the government. After careful investigation by the government, a group of people appeared and Zhu Qi Lian was blamed to death.
