What are Door to Cy and Doot to c?

I might as well list them all for you so you can refer to them later.

Container transportation has the following loading and delivery methods:

1) FCL/FCL: Door to door, CY to CY, Door to CY, and CY to door.

FCL - full container load

CY - container yard (the boxes have been packed and the procedures have been completed, and they are ready to be shipped here for shipment)

It means:

(Shipper installs) FCL/(Consignee receives) FCL: door to door, yard to yard, door to yard, yard to Door.

2) FCL/LCL: CY to CFS, and Door to CFS.

LCL - less container load

CFS - container freight station (bulk delivery, goods are packed here)

Meaning :

(Shipper loading) FCL/(Consignee collecting) Bulk cargo: yard to container freight station, door to container freight station.

It is impossible for the consignee here to appear door, because they are different consignees, and everyone can only go to the container freight station to open the box and pick up their own part of the goods.

3) LCL/FCL: CFS to Door and CFS to CY.

Same as above, this is the door where the shipper will not appear.

4) LCL/LCL: CFS to CFS.

Neither the shipper nor the consignee is a full container, and both ends can only go to the container freight station for processing.

So the shipping company’s DOOR TO CY quotation you mentioned means that the shipping company is responsible for picking up the goods at your door (door), then shipping them by sea, and then delivering them to the container yard (CY) at the destination. Finished price.

The other one should be DOOR TO CFS, which is the price at which the shipping company is responsible for picking up the goods at your door, shipping them by sea, and then delivering them to the Container Freight Station (CFS) at the destination.
