I have seen too much damage caused by natural disasters. Every time I see this natural disaster, I feel that my life is really insignificant in front of these natural disasters. Tsunami, earthquake, typhoon and so on, although we humans are smart and powerful, we can really face this kind of natural disaster, and the name is not worth mentioning at all. There are natural disasters that I have experienced in my life. In 2005, I was only nine years old. We had a rainstorm that summer, which lasted for nearly a month. It was this uninterrupted rainy season that caused the flood there, although it was not a flood, it was also very big. At that time, we all stayed at home, and the water overflowed the door and rushed into the house. We children can barely avoid being washed away by the water with the help of adults. Fortunately, there were no casualties after the flood. But when we got on the road, we saw another place. All the plants are tightly attached to the ground, and the sediment has accumulated a thick layer on the ground. Scenes of being soaked in water are everywhere, and dealers are washed away by water. Such a disaster has passed. Later, a strong earthquake was felt in the Wenchuan earthquake on May 12, 2008. Because we are adjacent to Shaanxi Province and Sichuan Province, we felt quite strong. At that time, I remember that I was doing my homework in the sixth grade class, and suddenly I felt dizzy and didn't know what happened. I didn't understand what happened until I looked up and saw the lights shaking. My classmates were running outside and heard them shouting an earthquake. When I came out of the classroom, I saw the fence next to our classroom shaking back and forth like paper, and so did the teaching building. Only after personal experience can I understand how terrible natural disasters are. If the earthquake had lasted a little longer, our teaching building might have collapsed.
