Why does the author say that cicadas are hatched, which can be said to be a strange performance?

When the cicada comes out of its shell, it jumps and turns over in the air, making its head upside down, and its folded wings straighten and try to open. Then, with an almost invisible movement, try to turn it up and hook its empty skin with its front paws. This action disengages the tail from the shell. The whole action sequence has its own laws and is natural and beautiful, which can be called "performance".
