Spring Tour Dongpo Chibi

Dongpo Chibi, located in the northwest of Huangzhou City, was built in the early years of the Western Jin Dynasty and rebuilt many times. Su Dongpo, a great writer in the Northern Song Dynasty, relegated Huangzhou to the throne because of Wutai Poetry Case, and wrote a famous article that has been told for generations. Huangzhou Chibi has become a famous cultural relic at home and abroad, which is associated with the name of Su Dongpo. At the end of Qing Kangxi, it was renamed Dongpo Chibi.

Not long ago, my friends and I came to Huangzhou to visit Dongpo Chibi. After arriving in Huangzhou City, from the ancient Hanchuan Gate to the west, we saw buildings with green trees and red walls and overlapping buildings not far away, distributed on the red Chibi Mountain. This is Dongpo Red Cliff.

According to historical records, when Su Dongpo first arrived in Huangzhou, he was still haunted by the political persecution he had just encountered. Once he settled down in Huangzhou and integrated into the scenery and people's lives in Huangzhou, the poet with free nature quickly went along with it and began to explore and enjoy the pure beauty of Huangzhou landscape with his eyes that are good at capturing beauty and fun. When Su Dongpo was demoted to Huangzhou, the ancient city of Huangzhou, where Huangzhou Prefecture was located, was still some distance away from Chibi on the river. Su Dongpo often goes out of town to visit Chibi. At that time, Chibi was called Chibiji, an isolated mountain standing by the river. Here, Su Dongpo wrote the word "Er Fu" and many excellent poems. The fame of the article is so great that future generations actually associate the author's name with Chibi, but the real location of the famous battle in history gradually fades out of the memory of future generations. When the Red Cliff was rebuilt in the last years of Qing Emperor Kangxi, Guo Chaozuo, then the magistrate of Huangzhou, wrote "Dongpo Red Cliff".

Dongpo Chibi was robbed by fire several times, and most of the existing buildings were built during Tongzhi period in Qing Dynasty. Enter the park gate, but see red rocks towering, trees towering, bamboo towering; Climb the stairs and pass a Gu Men, which is the world-famous Dongpo Red Cliff. It is backed by mountains and faces the surging Yangtze River. It is a typical Jiangnan landscape with winding paths and changeable scenery. When you climb the building, you can see picturesque scenery.

The historical sites here are all related to osawa Su Shi, such as Er Fu Hall, Broken Fairy Pavilion, Liu Xian Pavilion and Monument Pavilion. Carved eaves gallery and exquisite Er Fu Hall were built in the early Qing Dynasty and rebuilt in Tongzhi for seven years. They are named after Su Shi's Chibi Er Fu. Er Fu Hall is an antique wooden building, facing the river, paved with blue bricks, empty and bright. The wooden wall in the middle of the hall is about two feet high and as wide as the hall. The front is engraved with "Qianchibi Fu" and the back is engraved with "Houchibi Fu". Qian Chibi Fu was written by Cheng Zhizhen, a Qing man. The whole article is in the form of a letter, skillfully written with a pen, and every word shows the spirit. The blessing on the back of Chibi is a combination of Weibei, which is heroic, elegant and smart. The plaque of Er Fu Hall was inscribed by Li Hongzhang, and the couplet in front of the hall was inscribed by Huang Xing, the leader of the Revolution of 1911.

On the east side of Er Fu Hall is the Liu Xian Pavilion, which contains the stone carvings of Dongpo and the tombstone inscribed by Su Shi for his wet mother's lotus picking, as well as the stone carvings of the famous painting boating on Red Cliff in modern times and the Liu Xian Pavilion written by Yang Shoujing in the late Qing Dynasty. A dozen paces east of Liu Xian Pavilion is a stele pavilion, with 108 stone carvings embedded in Dongpo calligraphy, and Yang Shoujing integrated Su Jingyuan's Post, which is a rare treasure. Er Fu Hall is more than ten steps to the south, and there is Yongjiang Pavilion, which means "a bottle of perilla is also Yongjiang Moon". The pavilion is embedded with the stone carvings of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty copying the calligraphy of Zhao Mengfu, a great calligrapher in Yuan Dynasty, and the stone carvings of celebrities in past dynasties.

On the west side of Yongjiang Pavilion stands the Broken Immortal Pavilion, which contains the cursive stone carvings of Su Dongpo's masterpiece Niannujiao Chibi Nostalgia. It is said that this cursive script was written after he was drunk. This is a rare work of a cycad, because of its peculiar brushwork and unrestrained style. There is also a stone carving of "Moon Plum" painted by Su Shi in the pavilion. On the screen, the crescent moon hangs high, and an old plum tree and new branches of ancient trees reveal a ray of vitality. More than ten steps to the west is the Narcissus Pavilion, which was built and rebuilt during the Tongzhi period of the Song and Qing Dynasties. There are stone beds and pillows in the pavilion. It is said that Su Shi swam in Chibi with his friends and lay down here after getting drunk. The Chibi stone under the pavilion is embedded with the "Chibi" stone tablet written by Zhong Gu, a calligrapher in Qing Dynasty. In ancient times, the river passed by, and there are still traces of water scouring and punting on the cliff stone carvings.

Qixia Building, located at the highest point of Chibi Rock, is inscribed with a plaque of Mao Dun. It is four stories high, with cornices and red tiles. Looking from the railing, you can see the rivers and mountains, but you can't see the infinite scenery.
