Electric welding is very common in daily life. I used to think that electric welding should be a very easy job, as simple as sticking two things together. But after listening to the teacher's speech, I think this is not an easy job, but a very difficult job.

Arc striking and rod feeding are the most basic parts of electric welding. Welding is impossible without learning arc initiation. When I start the arc, I always connect covered electrode to the iron plate, so I can't start the arc smoothly. However, arc striking is the first step for a welder. If I can't strike the arc successfully, I can't learn the following. However, under my repeated study, I finally learned to arc. However, a new problem has emerged. All the thin and long lines welded by my covered electrode are totally inconsistent with what the teacher said, so I tried to control the thickness and length of the weld, but it took me a long time to master it.

Then, after mastering the two basic skills of striking arc and bar conveying, the teacher began to teach us how to swing, fold line, crescent moon and circle, and the teacher demonstrated them one by one. After reading the teacher's demonstration, we began to operate again ... Finally, through constant practice, I mastered the operating skills of welders skillfully.

I think this welder internship is not only to let us know about welders, but also to let us master this technology. More importantly, let us know that nothing can be done simply. You should be patient enough to learn any skill. Welding practice makes me deeply understand the meaning of life, and practice is the test standard of truth. Through welding practice, I learned a lot of common sense and tempered my will, which is another valuable asset in my college graduation life and will have a great impact on my future study and work.

Chapter 2: welder's experience

Electric welding machines are widely used. I have welded before, which can be said to be relatively easy, but I don't understand the safety knowledge during welding. This training has made me gain a lot!

The first lesson focuses on theory, because safety comes first! The teacher seriously talked about the welder's knowledge, operating procedures and precautions. I took notes carefully. I know the types of welding, the prevention of electric shock, the prevention of arc burn and scald before welding, and the technical terms such as arc starting and steel bar transportation ... I always thought that there should be no problem as long as I pay attention, but there are so many knowledge and essentials! It seems simple, but the more you listen, the more dangerous you feel, and the more you listen, the more scared you feel. But how can we back down? Even if you are afraid of death, you still have to bite the bullet and never be a coward! Cheer up and come on!

The welding process was easy at first, but then the teacher asked us to do the same thing, feeling a little annoyed and wanting something new, but the teacher only gave us a little covered electrode, which was too little, sir! I feel good after the whole training!

Through this internship, we learned about the production mode, technological process and safe operation technology of modern machinery manufacturing industry. Understand the knowledge of mechanical manufacturing process and the application of new technologies, new processes and new equipment in mechanical manufacturing, cultivate, improve and strengthen the engineering practice ability, innovation consciousness and innovation ability, and have preliminary independent operation skills.
