Industry experience: the color of accounting profession

According to a survey of accounting practitioners, the first choice is that accounting is too rigid and has no future, and the professional color of accounting seems to be gray. As an accountant who has been with me for 22 years, I can't help but want to talk about my experience.

I pulled out my dagger, and I peeped in vain in four directions, a new society.

I have been dealing with numbers since I was admitted to the Accounting Department of Suzhou University in 1983. Like most people, I don't like them very much, but out of reverence for knowledge and difficulties in studying at that time, I studied very hard. 1985 in the first half of the year, the accounting law was promulgated. In the vibrant season, theatrical performances, banners and lectures are held, and many activities are held in the college to promote it. On weekdays, only celebrities whose names are printed on books face to face with us now, and the students in the accounting department are very busy with these activities. Because of this rule, I vaguely feel the importance of my major and have a secret pride.

After graduation, I was assigned to a state-owned chemical enterprise. The aura of college students faded, and the real life came to me. Young people with high spirits were faced with the accounting posts of books and abacus, and their future was gray in their hearts at that time. Many students in the same situation as me, mostly in this kind of "I pulled out my dagger, I walked four ways in vain", full of fantasy and unable to start, the years passed, and then people reached middle age. And I, after some repeated thinking, chose to believe in accounting, and I put my future on accounting.

Concentrate on cultivating the blade and sharpen it.

In fact, I know that accounting is a highly technical subject. With the development and change of external economy, new standards and new accounting methods are added every year. This is a job that requires lifelong learning. From accountant, accountant to certified public accountant, it is like a ladder. The corresponding professional skills basically correspond to your salary in this society and the corresponding positions you can get. As long as you are willing to climb, "the mountain is the peak."

I happened to see a CPA test paper, which aroused my desire to conquer. 1993, with a concentration and perseverance, I passed the CPA exam at one time. With this pass, I left the chemical company and went to a local accounting firm. The mode of "honesty and diligence" has become my code of conduct, "honesty" ensures the safety and correct direction of navigation, and "diligence" is the "propeller" to the goal. During these six years' training, I participated in the related business of 40 listed companies in Jiangsu, won the trust of customers and had my own loyal customers.

Come naturally, slowly fight swords and walk the rivers and lakes.

With the development of accounting, the gains of working and studying all the way began to go hand in hand with the recognition of individuals by the society. I began to use my professional knowledge to participate in the discussion of state affairs. In 2000, I was hired as the deputy director of the Economic and Legal Affairs Committee of the Seventh Committee of the Democratic Progressive Party of Jiangsu Province, and an adjunct professor in the Finance and Accounting Department of Jinling Women's College of Nanjing Normal University. I have a sense of accomplishment recognized by the society. Especially in 1999, my suggestion on promoting the listing of private enterprises in southern Jiangsu was responded to and valued. Local TV stations and Xinhua Daily reported and interviewed many times, which directly promoted the listing of a large number of enterprises in southern Jiangsu.

Accounting is a stable job, but "stable" does not mean that I am not motivated and have no future. Compared with those leaps and bounds and unrealistic blockbuster, I rely too much on those opportunities that I can't meet. I am like an old farmer, working hard in this industry, then brushing my beard, waiting confidently for the inevitable harvest.

The professional color of accounting should be blue, which represents more rationality in a bright, brisk and enterprising tone. As long as the accountant adds a little bit to this gray starting point, the gray can feather into blue.
