I also think it is enough for children to build and create freely at home.

When Dabao is older, she can already build more complicated structures by herself according to the drawings. In my opinion, her patience and concentration, her ability to read instructions and understand charts have been exercised and improved. Including buying her a set of smaller particles and theme building blocks of electromechanical devices, she also played with ease.

So when I learned that my colleague's children still spent a lot of money learning building blocks, I felt it was unnecessary. First, I want to finish my class online, so it is inevitable to send it back and forth. Secondly, I really think building blocks is an activity that children can explore by themselves.

This time I went to the building block experience class of rice cake mother. I think the teacher's class seems a little interesting, too.

First of all, expand vocabulary and improve children's understanding and expression ability.

How are building blocks linked to language? Because, to build building blocks, you must know the names of each type of building blocks. Otherwise, when teaching, teachers can't always say this kind of building blocks, or this kind of square, that kind of long.

Just like every part and tool, it must have its own name. And these building blocks also have special names. Such as 9-hole beam, lock brick, oblique joint, reverse joint, long shaft, short shaft, toothed short shaft, big gear, long mechanical arm, thin plate and so on.

After a few classes, the children are very familiar with these building blocks and know what they are called and what they do. Expand your vocabulary and understand why it is called this name. This also helps children to describe a new item more accurately.

Teachers' teaching methods are also lively and interesting. Usually a scene or story leads to the building blocks to be built in this lesson. This vivid way can not only increase the interest of teaching, but also be a good way to introduce the content, so that children can learn some ways of language expression unconsciously.

Secondly, improve adversity quotient, inspire thinking and cultivate resilience.

Teachers should not simply demonstrate the construction process in teaching. But don't integrate matters and knowledge points that need children's attention at every step, and encourage children to try in teaching.

When building, the teacher has many moments of "reinventing the wheel". For example, build an unstable structure first, so that children can see that building blocks will fall easily. So the teacher introduced the change of "chain structure".

When you want to build a brick wall, the bricks on each floor are staggered and overlapped to ensure the stability of the brick wall. When the building blocks are spliced, such a structure is an "interlocking structure".

After introducing the new structure, the teacher will tear down the previous "wrong" parts and reassemble them. And such a process of trying, coming up with new solutions, improving and even reinventing not only encourages children's thinking, but also exercises their patience and resilience.

In the past, children were unhappy and angry when they encountered difficulties in building blocks. But now I can accept the challenges and difficulties, and I won't feel anxious and uneasy because I want to reinvent myself.

Third, stimulate interest in learning and improve learning ability.

At first, I was in class with my children, and two people finished a work together. Gradually, I participated less and less, and the children spent more and more time.

On one occasion, children watched video lessons, not following the trend, but simply watching the teacher explain and operate.

The next morning, without watching the teaching video and following the teacher, the child built this work with the memory of watching the teaching video the day before.

The children themselves feel very happy and have a sense of accomplishment.
