Briefly talk about the final result, the mock competition won the championship and will go to Shanghai to participate in the Asian finals. There is nothing to say about this part of the process. My lap speed was not the fastest in the whole race, but there were no mistakes in the race, and the carpooling link was properly defended, so I was lucky to win a championship. As the saying goes, if you can drive a real car, who wants to touch a fake one? After coordination in many ways, I got the permission to open a real car to brush Zhuhai International Circuit. If the risk is big enough to let a person who doesn't know the level officially get off the track, what if I tell you that Ke Ling is so relieved that he doesn't even plan to arrange a co-pilot to accompany him or set up a safety car to slow you down? In the process of car selection, when the staff asked me whether I wanted to drive the original 03+ or use it to modify 03+, I chose the original 03+. On the one hand, I want to try to see how the 03+ we can buy performs on the track; Again, I also want to explore how different the simulator is from driving a civilian car in reality, and what the average player needs to pay attention to.
When I quit the circle, I didn't choose to brush the circle with all my strength, but carefully compared the difference between the simulator and reality. Can the simulator restore the real trajectory? Do you need to adjust the braking point? Is there a problem with the route?
In a short circle, I can tell you responsibly, as long as you don't play recreational racing games such as Need for Speed and Forza. And use professional software for real-time physical simulation of laser scanning (I prefer to call it software), and the trajectory can basically rely entirely on the experience on the simulator. As for the braking point, you can basically refer to the position on the simulator, but because the braking force and tail speed of different vehicles are different in reality, it still needs to be fine-tuned in the next time.
It is worth mentioning that the simulator is not enough to restore FOV, so the creation of speed sense is still very different from reality. The most obvious difference lies in the judgment of turning speed when the end of the big straight is fully braked. In the simulator, even if the speed is reduced to 60Km/h by turning around, the speed sense is still obvious. In reality, because of the wide visual range and the lack of reference frame, there is an illusion that the car will stop when it brakes to 80Km/h, and it can only be rushed by the tracking brake until the speed of entering the corner has not dropped.
In addition, in the real brush circle, the car body routing is better than the simulator. This is mainly due to the incomplete restoration of FOV by simulator. When the visual range is not wide enough and the FOV is different from the reality, the judgment of the car body position is often not accurate enough, which is why many professional e-sports players adopt the "hood perspective". In addition, the feedback of the body over the shoulder will be clearer and richer than that of the simulator. At the moment of pressing, the road condition will be transmitted to the car body through the car body, which is much richer than the sound on the simulator and the vibration of the steering wheel. So if you can run the line smoothly on the simulator, you don't have to worry about going to the real track. Aim at bending center in the corner, aim at the corner and start oiling, and everything will follow.
Generally speaking, the simulator can restore the real track and vehicle dynamics by 90%, and the physics and feedback are actually the same. As long as it can adapt to the change of speed sense, the simulator will run well, and it will certainly not run too badly in reality.
After the simulator, what about the original factory? Let's take a look at the performance of Link 03+ on the track. A long time ago, I drove the original Lectra 03 for three full laps on the small track. As a comfortable civilian car, I was deeply impressed by the performance of Link 03. Naturally, I am also looking forward to the performance of 03+ with stronger performance orientation in Zhuhai International Circuit with higher level.
Let's talk about something I'm satisfied with first. Link 03+ is really a fast car. I didn't use professional timing tools that day, so I could only give a rough lap time result by using mobile phone video. On this 4.3km track, the lap speed of Lectra 03+ is about 2 minutes 10 second, which is quite good at this level. Secondly, the four-wheel drive system of Link 03+ is a good medicine for everyone on the track. After bending center, you only need full throttle, and there is no tendency to get out of control at all; You know, this was done when my ESP was completely turned off. This power management ability is really amazing.
In addition, the braking performance is also very good. I still remember the experience of driving 03 at the small track before. On the second lap, the brakes were a little soft, the braking distance became longer and longer, and confidence gradually decreased. On the other hand, the tail speed of the original factory 03+ is higher, stop? On the Zhuhai track with obvious T-shape, I brushed for about 5 laps, and the brakes did not drop significantly. Basically, the braking point of each lap can be guaranteed at the same point. After 5 laps, a section is basically completed, which is a time point of track day; At this time, stop to cool off, and everything is just right.
After talking about advantages, let's talk about disadvantages. In front of me, I praised the excellent power distribution of this four-wheel drive system, and there was basically no burden when giving oil. However, for a car with dominant game attributes, its non-existence more or less deprives the driver of the fun, and the process of giving oil a corner, which obviously needs to be considered and endured, has become a mindless full throttle. If the four-wheel drive system of the Lectra 03+ can compete more actively and distribute more power to the rear wheels, I believe more people will like the 03+.
Secondly, the downshift speed and throttle responsiveness of the Lectra 03+ are not very good. In daily street driving, the downshift speed of the gearbox of Link 03+ is a bit slow, which is greatly amplified in the track that needs to step on the accelerator at the first time after passing through bending center. For several consecutive corners, bending center began to tread on the floor oil and waited for the gearbox to respond to the power at the corner. In order to solve this problem, I even need to start supplying oil before entering the braking zone, so as to solve the dilemma of insufficient power in bending center. I also encountered this problem on the original factory 2.0T Link 03. However, there are indeed some things that should not be done for the Lectra 03+ which is famous for its performance.
So in a word, Kelin 03+ is indeed a "street disease" in positioning, and its performance on ordinary roads is indeed excellent. Do you want motivation? 254 horsepower is basically confident that it will not scare others at any traffic lights. You want to manipulate? Borgwarner's four-wheel drive system can ensure that every tire is in the best power output range as much as possible, so-called easy to get. However, there are some shortcomings in the performance of the track, at least the performance of the gearbox is a bit slow.
