The second largest river in Qufu City, it was called Yishui in ancient times. It was once named Qingyuan River and Siyi River. It is different from the Yi River in Linyi area. It is also called Xiaoyi River and is now called Dayi River. It originates from the northern foot of Fenghuang Mountain in Chengqian Town, Zouxian County, with a total length of 58 kilometers. It enters from the junction of Qu and Zou in the upper reaches of Confucius Lake, and enters the Si River at Jinkou Dam at the junction of Qu and Yan. The territory is 39 kilometers long, the river bed is 50 to 200 meters wide, and the drainage area is 365.6 square kilometers. The maximum annual runoff is 188 million cubic meters, the minimum annual runoff is 011 million cubic meters, and the multi-year average runoff is 075.2 million cubic meters. The maximum peak flow is 309 cubic meters/second. The flood discharge capacity from Luyuanba to Jianggou River mouth is 360 cubic meters/second, and from the entrance of Liaohe River to Jinkou Dam is 570.7 cubic meters/second. It is a seasonal flash flood channel. There are bridges on the Yi River such as the Beijing-Shanghai High-speed Railway Bridge and the Dacheng Bridge.
